little science experiment from the studio the other day @:≈ deciding whether to sell tromsø so I tried out a bunch of "analog downsampling" variations using the other tools in my case. and a bit of field recording texture in the rear so you don't get bored while i fumble around trying to find the sweet spots (comments for patch notes). 

conclusion: nothing sounds quite like tromsø, but there's so many colors available with the tools I have it almost feels redundant. I had messed around with kermit as a modulator in the past but was pleasantly surprised by the mangrove patches!

first run with IME bionic lester mk1 - a really weird and wonderful cross btw a filter && broken downsampler. a couple pitched guitar loops caught in norns otis are hitting the input and the two filter cutoffs are being modulated by a self patched sport modulator. just spliced together a couple takes of this weird soup as it evolved :)
