Insolate stands as a defining figure in the Croatian techno circuit, achieving international acclaim over two decades as both a revered DJ and producer, and the driving force behind the esteemed Out Of Place label, as well as the electrifying HUSH! and TRAUM events.

With her roots in Osijek, she initiated her journey in 1997, progressing to captivate audiences across Europe and the globe. Honored as “Croatia’s ambassador overseas” in 2017 and 2018, and lauded as Croatia’s top DJ in 2022, Insolate also proudly represented her country at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, claiming the “Dance Nation of the Year” award.

Her global presence includes marquee performances at leading clubs and festivals like Berghain, Rex, Tresor, and Tomorrowland, extending to tours across Colombia, the USA, China, and Argentina. Her production prowess shines on tracks released through distinguished labels such as Mote Evolver and BPitch Rec, earning the support of techno titans like Laurent Garnier and Ben Klock.

Insolate’s DJ sets are celebrated for their unadulterated energy and technical finesse, reflecting her seasoned expertise, boundless inspiration, and profound understanding of techno, cementing her as an innate force within the DJ booth.

The mix was recorded in July at Tresor (Berlin) during the 20th anniversary of my booking agency, AD Sound. It was a great night sharing the booth with Lady Starlight, Sterac, Advent, Heiko Laux, Steven Parker, and others.

Miia Magia’s past two decades of exploring the dancefloor with her groovy and hypnotic sets has been a
labour of love. The once passionate clubber, record collector and lover of the UK alternative rock sound
today lights up her sets with dubbed out raw techno and classic deep house. Hailing from the LGBTQ+
scene where she is a staple figure and organising various club concepts in Helsinki paved her way into
entering the highschool of techno in Stockholm. A beautiful journey through festival stages, warehouse
raves and club nights all over Finland, Sweden and Estonia with HALL, Into The Valley, Department and
Kesärauha becoming some of her firm favourites. Miia is the owner of Motto Sono Records, actively running
the label since 2020 with releases mainly focusing on Scandinavian deep house & dub techno. A rare gem
of a label, keeping the underground culture alive and providing possibilities for artists to release
uncompromised music for the demanding audience as well as DJs from up and coming producers to
heavyweight pioneers.
Miia started out by playing at various Helsinki clubs and parties, which naturally led her to set up her own
regular club night in Semifinal, a legendary local underground venue. “Club FF” became in 2004 the first
club night in Semifinal's history run solely by female DJs, making Miia the pioneer that she is to this day.
Miia continued trailblazing by gaining a residency in club DTM, the undisputed cornerstone or in their own
words "institution of all things queer in the Helsinki nighttime", and eventually leading the massive Helsinki
Pride parade for several years. At mbar, one of Helsinki’s most beloved cultural hangouts, Miia’s “Sound of
Magic” concept became an instant classic. While DJing in the Finnish capital she has shared the stage with
her local heroes RobertoRodriguez and Orion to name but a few. Currently Miia hosts a resident bi-monthly
club night “KICK” at DTM.
From 2015 to 2019 Miia was based in Sweden, making her way through the highly prestigious Stockholm
underground techno scene. There Miia’s work was recognized with invitations coming in to warm up
legends like Axel Boman, Cari Lekebusch and Dj Hell. Since 2022 Miia has been signed to Stockholm based
booking agency Parabel.
After returning to Helsinki in 2020 Miia created the independent label Motto Sono Records together with
Mr.Barth (aka Cari Lekebusch), following the principle of releasing distinctive and unique electronic music
with the common definition “deep”. Releases by the likes of Alexi Delano, Joel Mull, Tm Shuffle and Tapani
Rinne and collaborations with Scandinavian visual artists for the label’s cover art have made scrolling
through Motto Sono’s catalogue feel like visiting an art gallery. Both Miia Magia's own and other Motto
Sono masterpieces have earned plays and climbed up to best track lists on Finnish and Swedish national
radios.
In addition to her main focus as a dj and label owner, during the past decade Miia has also been able to
channel her creative talent and pursuit of beauty into make-up artistry and jewellery design. Often
collaborating with performing artists, she has created looks for musicians like Jori Hulkkonen for his music
video and the late great Prince's band members Cassandra O'Neil and John Blackwell prior to their concert
in Helsinki. Miia Magia Design jewellery collaborations include several Finnish museums, Swedish record
labels Drumcode and H-Productions and Helsinki Pride. Her jewellery has also made appearances on
various red carpet events, out of which adorning Aki Kaurismäki's "Fallen Leaves" film crew members at the
Cannes Film Festival in 2023 is one of Miia’s personal highlights.

A.Paul has been a driving force in the evolution of techno music since its inception. He is recognised for his intense DJ performances and his relentless stream of studio productions for some of the best labels in the world. Operating under his own name as well as aliases like Loudon Kleer and Beat Therapy, A.Paul has spent over 30 years dedicated to electronic music, earning a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific artists in the scene.

His distinctive sound and technique have propelled him to a remarkable career, first gaining recognition in Portugal, where he was repeatedly voted the best Portuguese techno DJ, and later on an international scale. 

A.Paul has performed at some of the most prestigious mega-eventsaround the world, including Awakenings (Netherlands), Apokalypsa (CzechRepublic), Evolve (Canada), Nature One (Germany), Rock in Rio (Portugal),Syndicate (Germany), Ruhr-in-Love (Germany), Tecnolandia (Portugal),Aquasella (Spain), Liberty White (Belgium), and Decibel (Netherlands). He has also graced the decks at iconic clubs such as Tresor, U60311, Lehmann, and Butan (Germany); Fabrik, Moog, Makumba, Ind Copera, Row14 (Spain); Perron, Panama, Poema (Netherlands); Rex and Inox (France);and Locomia, Rocks, Kremlin, Gare, Pacha (Portugal), among many others.

A.Paul’s first record was released in 1995, followed by the creation of two of his most acclaimed projects of the 1990s: Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet Records, which were the primary outlets for his music during that decade. 

In 2005, he launched Naked Lunch, a bold new label that has since featured some of the best techno artists in the world and received incredible feedback from DJs and fans alike. In 2012, he relaunched Onh.Cet, alongside other projects such as Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, The Light, and Xtractz. He also co-founded MPC, a vinyl distribution company, with Michaelangelo (Labrynth Recs) and Cisco Ferreira (The Advent).
 
A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records and many digital releases on labels like Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhythm, Suara,bItalo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, and Impact Mechanics. He has also remixed tracks for renowned artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Orlando Voorn, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, DJPreach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz, and many more.
