with Dagon, I endeavored to go beyond 'Invisible Cloak'. Dagon is written in multiple bpms. Each time I reloaded the .wav into a new project, I would change the bpm a little, from higher to lower and back again over many reiterations. In this way I could approach the canvas from multiple angles in time. It is not in any specific time signature. The time signature is fluid and morphing constantly. It is written off grid. I approached this piece as a visual art, not exactly as music.

Type Two Error

A Relative Term is quiet. Originally the solo work of singer/guitarist/drummer, Mark Longolucco, the project has grown to include electric guitarist Jake Bernhardt and bassist Peter Williams. With an emphasis on subtle, reflective moments, the presence of A Relative Term's music is one of etherial weightless anchored by the notion that comfort can be both playful and somber, sometimes all at once.
