Aariyana Bio:
Aariyana is an up-and-coming Canadian songwriter with Indian and African roots. She has been playing guitar and writing songs since she was a child and has now taken the next step in her career releasing her own music, and pitching her first song for sync placements. She recently performed with Sarah McLachlan at her annual fundraiser, was invited to showcase at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Gala, and was part of the headlining performance at Vancouver’s TedEd conference. Aariyana’s latest single “Blessed” was supported by the City of Vancouver and was produced by Juno-Nominated producer A-SLAM. The song was recently signed to New-York based Future Hits, who will be pitching the song for potential film and TV placements.

A-SLAM is an artist, DJ, & producer, that fuses his Western & South Asian roots. He made a name for himself in the World music scene, fusing high-energy Hip-Hop beats with Bhangra & Bollywood samples. His unique blend of fusion music was noticed by several Indigenous artists who wanted to do the same with their culture. Aariyana Sayani - Blessed (F. A-SLAM) - INTRO

A-SLAM has an established reputation in Vancouver as a Juno-nominated producer. His nomination was for the album he co-produced for Indigenous R&B singer, Inez, called Sing Soul Girl, which also won several Western Canadian Music Awards. The song A-SLAM produced for Vancouver pop artist Elise Estrada charted in the top 50 on Adult Contemporary Radio, Top 20 for Canadian Only, and was featured on Stingray's hit list alongside Calvin Harris and DJ Khaled. In 2019, A-SLAM began branding himself as an MC performing his own single "Bout Us", and ultimately landing a Telus StoryHive grant for the music video. The video discusses the cultural stigma of marrying outside of one's religion, especially in the South Asian community.

May 2022 marked a significant moment in A-SLAM's career, with the release of his debut album and music video "4 U". The song is an ode to single mothers, and Amplify BC supported the cinematic music video. The release led A-SLAM to perform at several festivals, including Party For The Planet, The Hub Festival, and a massive performance at Surrey's Fusion Festival. Since the release, A-SLAM has also been invited to joint showcases with the VSO, The Chan Centre, and CBC.

Under his label GPS Music has has helped release music with other independent artists including Aariyana Sayani, Lady Sinncere, and Faze.
