DJ ADSR resides currently in Decatur where it's Greater, Georgia. Growing up in the codeine canals of Screwston, Tejas aided in his love of music and want to show the world bubbly, syrupy sounds from the underground and how those tones can compliment not only other experimental music but also mainstream hits from the 80s, 90s and today. dustin morris: hey frank. at the moment i’m just getting ready for work! snow is falling here, so i’ll have to leave a bit early.

subspiele: where did you record the mix ?
dustin morris: the mix was recorded at my friend’s flat here in toronto. it took me one night to compile the music and one to record.

subspiele: which is the song that you recently liked the most ?
dustin morris: tough one! i’ll give you two. purl’s upcoming solo for dewtone and porya hatami’s upcoming for tench. 

subspiele: how do you feel now ?
dustin morris: good mate :)

subspiele: how should it go on ?

After The Rain

In this episode of A Void Presents, we delve deep into the world of my favourite Ambient producer and arguably the king of tones, Scott Morgan aka Loscil.

From Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Loscil has been releasing chilling, spine tingling music for over 15 years and has gravitated towards highly conceptual work since his first demo, finding particular inspiration in geography. Pulling inspirations and ideas from the ever changing landscape of his surroundings. Releasing 11 albums, most of which released on Kranky records, alongside a handful of EP's, including a masterpiece LP with bvdub, Morgan's sounds has been meticulously crafted through his floaty techno of his early records dissolved into a thick dubby mist around the time of 2006's Plume. Then creating some of the best and dare I say, near sonically perfect ambient sounds and tonal pieces with albums such as Sketches From New Brighton, Sea Island and the most recent, Monument Builders.
