I recently changed my alias from Surphase to Bare Bastian. I think the name Surphase didn't really represent me - hence the change. I still make music, and will continue to :)

Music That I Like To Hear

This project, along with a selection of other solo pieces, has been in the works for over a year now, and is my first non-collaborative release since Physical Acoustics. During this time I've done a lot of reflecting on my musical process and the kind of work I'd like to do in the future, and I feel this song incorporates elements from both sides of this transition!
