Blending different musical landscapes into one, drawing on what already exists to create a new style of electronic music - this is at the heart of vendredear's practice. To compose and shape their music, the Paris-based DJ explores and shares the rich heritage of club music, while willingly accepting the role of a serial-digger, archivist as well as curator, notably within LYL Radio Paris.

Be it destructive or revitalizing, vendredear's music is a gateway to the intimacy of music itself, awakening our inner exaltations through the echo of their own. They transcend feelings and passions, convey secrets and confessions, and set the beat of our hearts like a metronome.

Bungalovv est le projet de musique électronique alternative de Pablo Betas, membre pilier du label mondialement connu Infinite Machine (Mexique/Canada) et un des trois fondateur.ices du label et collectif Trrueno (Argentine). Il émet ses premières notes avec ce projet à Buenos Aires en 2014, puis emménage à Berlin en 2019. Ses sons puisent racines dans les rythmes latino-américains et donnent un mélange de percussions qui cavalent, synthés trancy, et beats clubs complexes. Tous ces éléments s’articulent autour d’un écosystème expérimental où faunes nocturnes, robotiques et mécaniques coexistent.

Absorb presents the debut EP by 'dummy tree', the interlocked, ambient strong of Melbourne's Jim Sellars (Yunzero), Jordan Obarzanek (Body Clock, OBA, Cloud Ice 9), and Joseph Buchan (Other Joe).

Three improvisational live cuts form the super-group’s first release, all pinched from their dovetailed performance at the ABSORBED festival in 2024. It was 4:30pm, they were backlit by the afternoon sun. Through these longform recordings, each member of dummy tree can be heard intimately, testing dynamics in turn and introducing surprising amounts of drama. There are guitars, both acoustic and electric, competing with synthesisers and woodwind instruments that build from a murmur into whole walls of sound. The drowsy atmospherics are akin to early Seefeel or Windy & Carl, although careful listeners will also pick up crumbs that trace back to the extensive catalogue of works made by Sellars, Obarzanek and Buchan individually.

You'll find the music of dummy tree to be more disarming than any of the aforementioned, a special project that is worth celebrating in its infancy, and to watch out for while it grows.
