The flowers hung out over the water, the riverbed a beautiful masquerade of bright beautiful colours which danced and glistened in the reflection of the pond. Boats moved slowly past, taking in the sights of the elegant gardens which drifted by. From time to time they could hear the echoes of birds in the trees which overlooked this special place in the outback of a country lost to the depths of time, Amuka was serene. 

Tai Rona appears on a new split compilation from Feng Shit, a sub label of Decale, designed to highlight electronic and experimental music from contemporary artists. The first release on the newly launched imprint also includes music from the likes of OKO Dj and Christian Coiffure. 

This track, called "Amuka",  by Tai Rona is a highlight.

Hey Hey, Happy New Year to everyone, we are very proud to start this new cycle with Times New Roman, One of the founders and active members of the renowned and respectable Digital Tsunami (@digitaltsunami), a key platform in the electronic scene, which has been sharing top-notch music since its creation in 2013 and branched out into a must-to-attend festival, DT Camp in Lithuania.

Joined for my next instalment on SWU with the founders of rdg tribe, who have curated a sublime mix, seaming together abstract, minimal and dub like textures. 

Javier Salazar are the founders to 'rdg tribe'. Their label focuses on and hosts an array of sounds from the realm of psychedelic underground EDM, spanning from ambient, half time to deep techno and breaks. The duo's own track curations are the pinnacle to deep and hypnotic production and demonstrates how these sounds can undeniably entice listeners into the vortex that this music can take you through.

My next guest on Yax Invites is aeternae, an Italian artist based in Barcelona who specialises in a gentle and forgiving sound. 

Founder of the "substrate" parties which, for some years now, have been contributing to the deep-techno scene of Barcelona. His DJ sets and productions are a unique fusion of euphoric and psychedelic techno, distinctive with his captivating and attentive sound design. Sharing the same characteristics as his productions, his DJ sets delve deeper into the psychedelic dimension of techno, leading the dancefloor to a state of euphoria, through his precise, deliberate control over sound and energy. His approach stimulates both the mind and body, bringing out strong emotional energies.

Get in the skin of your alter-gecko and discover your reptilian reflection in the Picture of Saurian Gray. We welcome first the ambient & slow goa maestro Khey Mysterio with his friend FIDY for a wobbly and swampy psybient track, to introduce talented newcomer Juli and her precise and sharp deep dubstep sound. RBR head Da Iguana delivers his usual lizard wizard touch in a drum & bass track with oriental and humid jungle flavours, leaving the stage to Mexican producer Sandunga and her typical psytropical sound where dembow and cumbia anthems meet experimental sounds. Argentinian and Brazil-based Nahd offers her vision of dark trip-hop before Toulouse-based Shaku hits our eardrums with a trancey and minimalistic dancehall banger.

After destroying dancefloors the world over at hands of Karmon, Joyce Munitz, Wankelmut, Agoria, ‘Fear’ is back. Definition returns with the ReFeared Mix which adds small changes on the Bassline and some Vocal shouts, just to underline the Main-Melody of the track.

Ron Flattner’n remix comes flying in ready to do some damage. The groove is hot and loose; he keeps it steady, low, and strong while climbing and falling in all the right places.

BLANCAh takes a bigger approach, opening all the gates and letting the synths soar. The remix definitely delivers a punch, dealing a healthy dose of techno with it.

Fear (BLANCAh Remix)

Marc Romboy is back on Tronic, and we have two remixes of his classic “The Overture”. For remix duties we enlisted Techno originator and legend Joey Beltram, as well as France’s deep house genius Rodriguez Jr. The outcome is as expected. Mr Beltram changes the original to a peak time slice of moody techno, whereas Rodriguez Jr. goes the more melodic route using a beautiful arpeggio. We are very happy with this release and hope you will be as well!
