Interstellar Radio used with a Nonlinear Circuits (NLC) 8 Bit Cipher module to achieve something similar to Rob Hordicks "Rungling" concept.

The 8 Bit Cipher is fundamentally a shift register, and in this patch I connected the CARRIER oscillator out into the Cipher's DATA in, and the MODULATOR oscillator out into the Cipher's CLOCK in, the CV1 from the Cipher into the CARRIER CV and CV4 into the DEMODULATOR CV. This creates a feedback loop between the shift register and it's clock and data sources leading to pseudo-random melodies and harsh noise. I manually tweaked the CV and FREQ knobs of both the CARRIER and DEMODULATOR oscillators.

There are no other modules or processing used in this patch.
