Amiga Power Demo Disk Sampler

I am worn down linoleum,
riddled with pockmarks and scars
like the drool-dripping pusboil
fused to concrete steps

Her eyes are empty,
rolling back, then forward
in an unsteady rhythm 
off kilter with the metronome
of her emaciated torso

A ramshackle railing,
frozen by the wastrel peak of winter,
provides a wrought iron crutch 
to a tatterdemalion guttersnipe -
numb on numb

I am asphalt pores
on ice weathered streets
and graffitied buildings,
dilated by sheets of sleet and rain,
licking salt to magnify my pain

Every hole becomes a mouth,
sucking on the soggy scraps of life -
like a child's thumb, or a twitching cock -
plastered with traces of seminal fluid
and shed seed husks

Bitter wind bellows
through rock battered windows,
molesting the forgotten topography 
of worn down linoleum

“Melodies Found On 880kB Floppies” is a love letter to amazing music made on Amiga computers, mainly in the ‘90s of the 20th century. It consists of chiptune covers of the best demoscene and games tracks (plus one bonus cover of Commodore 64 tune). It’s a tribute to great composers of that era.

This Kefrens megamix came on five 1.44mb floppy disc' which each contained a part of the megamix. The floppies was then read by a track-loader one by one. You had to feed the floppy drive in order to hear the megamix.
