Bruno Martins and José Pedro Santos are the minds behind Prestes and “É Díficil” is their debut EP. 3 original tracks + 1 remix with collaborations of the singer, Claiana and Filipe Azevedo (former Sensible Soccers).

En esta premiere del compilado T.W.G. (thirth world gang) Vol.2 presentamos el trabajo de DJ Nen ( https://soundcloud.com/djneeeen )

Dj nen es DJ, promotor cultural y musical desde 2021. Su investigación se centra en lo global y sus diversos aspectos, con atención a los niños y las culturas de América Latina:

 “He estado involucrado en el juego de pies y estoy obsesionado con géneros como el break, el Jungle y el hard trance, mezclando actualmente mi predilección por los ritmos rápidos y los timbres agresivos con el contexto actual de la música electrónica latina underground”. La fecha de lanzamiento total está prevista el 13 de Septiembre 2024.

Los sellos Algol de Brasil, Matraca de Perú y Makinmovs de Chile se unen para presentar un selecto compilado de música electrónica latinoamericana de avanzada bajo el concepto de reunir artistas del sur -más al sur- de América con propuestas refrescantes para el 2024. Con este disco se marca un hito en la región, en cuanto al trabajo colectivo, siendo resultado del esfuerzo de 3 sellos y colectivos de distintas latitudes & ejes del Sur de América (Sao Paulo, Lima, Santiago).


T.W.G. Vol.2 -siglas para Third World Gang- fue un proyecto colaborativo sin precedentes que nació entre los sellos Matraca & Makinmovs durante la pandemia el 2020 teniendo como meta el apoyo mutuo, unión y crecimiento colectivo de nuestra comunidad y red de artistas a lo largo del continente (mal llamado Americano). Como creadores y productores del Sur Global seguimos apostando por el trabajo colectivo, híbrido, descentralizado y horizontal más allá de las fronteras mentales y migratorias.

De este modo podemos escuchar tracks inéditos de artistas como ELK (BR), MALO2K (CL), Rasenk (Ur), DJ Nen (BR), Dr.100 (PE), SNPR BASS (CL), Bautista & Selvagia (PE), Redken Panda (Bol), Sad Baby (BR), Fer Lerant (PE), Guzbeats (BR), Wst (CL) & Lukrø (PE). Transitando desde géneros como Footwork, Juke, GhettoHouse, Bass hasta la Guaracha, Baile Funk, UK Garage, Jungleton y demás híbridos.

GOTIS, the latest addition to the Monstart label, is hitting the ground running with her debut EP, 'Red Therapy'. Born in Montpellier and now based in Paris, GOTIS has quickly established herself as a key figure in the French electronic scene, moving with finesse between deep grooves and underground sounds.

Drawing on influences from the UK club scene, GOTIS delivers a resolutely dancefloor orientated production on 'Red Therapy', his 21st Monstart release. 

Designed to be a club hit and a crowd pleaser, this project is a real injection of energy, fusing the warmth of house with hypnotic techno loops and the incisive rhythms of bass music. An immersive experience destined to resonate far beyond borders, each track is designed to capture the essence of clubbing.

GOTIS : "RED THERAPY" is an EP I produced quite innocently in my old apartment in Montpellier. Initially, I had no intention of releasing it; it was more of a personal project, a sonic exploration without any pressure or constraints. The tracks on this EP blend analog and digital elements, creating a bridge between two sonic worlds.

This EP represents a solo leap into electronic production for me, after years of making rock music in a band. While it marks a new chapter in my career, electronic music has always been a passion of mine. This transitional project signifies an important shift in my musical journey, allowing me to delve deeper into a style that has always intrigued me.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Monstart for believing in my project and allowing me to release this EP today. Their support has been crucial in bringing "RED THERAPY" to life "
