Very excited about this one, Pressure Dome boss Yushh absolutely nails just an over an hour of mutant techno / dancehall crossovers & halftime dnb flavours.
We're such big fans of Yushh & Pressure Dome, delighted to have her join the pod.. We also caught up with her for a lil chat! Read below > 

AM: There’s not a huge amount to do atm, but what have you been doing recently?
 
I’ve actually been working loads… I do lots of freelance music bits, a couple of days doing label management, a couple of days as a teaching assistant at BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music Institute) plus some ad hoc work for Noods. I also do private music production classes a few nights a week which I really enjoy. I love sharing knowledge and seeing the progression in my students is class. Looking forward to having a bit more time to focus on tunes when my contract with BIMM finishes in a few weeks even though I’ve really enjoyed working there. Hopefully get some projects I’ve been sitting on for a while over the line.
 
AM: Where & how did you record the mix & what was the idea behind it? 
 
I recorded it at home. Nothing special to report really, just chucked a load of tunes I’ve been feeling into a playlist and hit record. I used to agonise over mixes as I’m a massive perfectionist but because I’ve been so busy recently, I’ve not had time to plan my mixes like I used to. I think generally I mix better under pressure. When I have to make quick decisions and just get something done, they usually turn out better than ones I’ve been overthinking for weeks.
 
In terms of idea, I feel like there is a really nice vibe correlation between mutant bass-y dancehall stuff and the halftime dnb flavours, so I wanted to do something that played on that a bit so I hope you enjoy!
  
AM: Tell us a bit about Pressure Dome, it started out as like part of a uni project right? Did you envision it to evolve how it has, or was it quite natural?
 
The idea definitely came about as part of a university project but morphed into something more than that for sure. I never thought it would end up being what it is right now but honestly, I try not to think about it and just keep releasing music I believe in. Obviously, it’s amazing hearing people are digging the label output, but I think if you start thinking about stuff too much your vision can get a bit blurred. I’m just lucky to have such amazingly talented friends and to have made some wicked connections along the way.
 
AM: Some amazing music & labels currently in Bristol, was have you been listening to recently and who inspires you in the city?
 
Livity and Timedance are always a source of inspiration of course. Livity has had a stream of quality releases over the last year and Timedance just always brings something amazing to the table that really opens your eyes. I also love the recent Big Hands release on London via Bristol label Oscilla Sound. I’ll also take this opportunity to shout out my amazing Bristol selector friends – Monika Taneska, Tramma, Ollie Kirk, Forever, MISH who always lay it down in their radio shows each month. 

AM: Whats next for yourself in 2021?
 
Trying not to get too excited about gigs and stuff as the past year has been full of disappointments in that regard but fingers crossed. I’m working on a few remixes, trying to get an EP over the line for one of my all-time favourite labels too so that’s super cool. The label has some amazing music in the pipelines too with the start off a new series… I’m not going to give too much away but def keep your ears peeled… very excited to share!

The end of the recording is actually the beginning of Other Joe's show but I've just left it in because me and Dan love that track. Aerial Palettes Presents: The Anatomy of an Idea

Her Greenhaus radio show has been standing as an exploration of the wide spectrum of genres from downtempo to techno, and is aired bi-weekly on VPN (virtualpublic.net) after a 5 years residency at RWDFM (Rewind.

From early on Jenn became a long distance friend of our community and we're excited to finally share with you this 1.15 hours mix, which unveils her newest alias, Earthbeam, who spreads ambient and downtempo sparkles over Amsterdam.

Laura Lippie : I feel I started assembling some tracks very fast, like the previous music sessions I did with my friends and music people this past year, very instinctively. And, I feel I kind of like what it brings on the table, this no calculation status , this orientated independent journey, as we naturally collect so much info/intel about our hearts concern (world misery, injustice, sadnesses etc.). So, I just picked some of those processes, put some stuff that lights up my vibratory activity, with memories or rhizomes that combine throughout, beliefs and taste for experimental surroundings and extreme gravity in simple cold flesh harmonies. The first track being from Iran, and the rest tells its narrative on its own.
