DJ Sakin & friends had an enormous global success with the trance version of the film Braveheart called Protect Your Mind. It first appeared in 1997 on Planet Love and then the track was released in many territories with result to become a global pop smash in 1998/1999. Now in 2022 on That’s Trance Dj Sakin with Talla 2XLC revisit the beloved trance classic for the updated banging 2022 uplifting style version of Protect Your Mind (Braveheart). The track packs a lot f energetic basslines, pumping kicks, bouncy beats and psy trance edge to it. The real deal is the huge long breakdown that reveals all the bagpipes and cinematic strings for the ultimate Scottish adventure on the dancefloors. The build up is teasing and manage easily to excite and uplift the spirits and the minds. You will feel very brave in your heart for sure. The climax is mega blockbuster as you expected to be with that unforgettable melody plus some extra new melodies that were not used in the original version. This month's special Soundcloud upload is "Gouryella" with "Ligaya".

I started up the "Gouryella" project back in 1999, together with Tiësto. "Ligaya" is the 4th track that was released as "Gouryella". The first 3 Gouryella tracks ("Gouryella", "Walhalla" and "Tenshi") are all done by Tiësto and myself. But for "Ligaya" I worked together with Dutch composer / songwriter John Ewbank. In the beginning of the 2002 John and myself started to work on the track. For the title of the track I picked the world "Ligaya", which means "Happiness" in Tagalog (Because my wife is from the Philippines'. The vocal version of "Ligaya" contains vocals done by Dutch singer Patty Gaddum.
 
Next month you can all pick another production / remix of myself and I will upload the most requested one to Soundcloud then.
