My Shine

This instrumental composition was crafted using an AKAI MPC, utilizing embedded synthesizers and a Stratocaster guitar. The result is a piece that showcases the versatility of these instruments, with a focus on creating an atmospheric and moody soundscape. The mixing and mastering processes were performed to ensure a cohesive and immersive listening experience and they were done on MPC software.

Wendigo  is a mythological creature or evil spirit originating from the folklore of Plains and Great Lakes Natives as well as some First Nations. It is based in and around the East Coast forests of Canada, the Great Plains region of the United States, and the Great Lakes region of the United States and Canada, grouped in modern ethnology as speakers of Algonquian-family languages. The wendigo is often said to be a malevolent spirit, sometimes depicted as a creature with human-like characteristics, which possesses human beings. The wendigo is said to invoke feelings of insatiable greed/hunger, the desire to cannibalize other humans, and the propensity to commit murder in those that fall under its influence.

Antonio Zapata (Aggressive Pets) is a Spanish musician and bedroom producer who began his studies at the music school of Leganés and later at the Professional Music Conservatory of Getafe.

 Later he entered the school of modern music La Factoría where he received lessons from some musicians like Luis Cruz ( guitarist of the legendary Spanish rock band Topo).

After that he enrolled in CEV (Center for Video and Image Studies) he studied music production, live sound and radio with Nacho Legorburu (Dean in Spain at Audio Engineering Society).

 Antonio has played guitar and bass in several bands (Wildlovers, Sin un Duro, Criaturas Celestiales) and has produced several demos for local rock groups. 

He is currently working on his Aggressive Pets project, eclectic mix of styles created from his home studio, as well as creating soundtracks for short films ( he composed and performed the O.S.T. for the horror film Yuggoth, directed by Dani Lardon and produced by Arkham Contents,  Which can be viewed freely on YouTube).
