Next up in our mix series is Joseph Tagliabue, an Italian sound engineer, electronic musician and DJ based in Milan. Introducing deep listening and ecstatic abandonment during dances at parties in the rural areas of the countryside, Joseph started djing when he was very young. Over time, he rose to prominence, becoming a landmark first in Milan’s city and then in European techno circles, skillfully navigating in the underground events. In 2018 Joseph made his debut as a producer capturing the ears and hearts of DJs and dancers thanks to his hypnotic and ritualistic sound. He gained immediate support from renowned artists in the scene, including Jane Fitz, Vladimir Ivkovic and Alexis Le-Tan, just to name a few.

In this mix, Joseph seamlessly weaves contemporary techno with psychedelic old-school trance, executed with a masterful touch. Whether it's deep introspective techno, or warm high-spirited trance, Joseph blends it with unique character. Zone out and tone in, to this 84 minutes voyage, perfectly suited for a sunlit spring afternoon.

Ute Mix Series #101 | Joseph Tagliabue

This episode of Stardust mix series features Wednesday, a London based DJ who has become a core member of the city's growing trance community.
After her solo debut at SUB:SYSTEM in late 2021, she has been captivating dancefloors with her unique blend of minimal psy, tribal prog, and techno. Earning her a residency at SUB:SYSTEM and performances at respected events in London, Berlin, Yerevan, Lisbon, and Nantes.
Her sets are characterized by their ability to work across various sonic landscapes, exploring the rhythmic and emotional depths of trance and techno while maintaining an ever-playful energy.

"This mix is a live recording from my opening set at UNFOLD last September when there was a takeover from @denandensidecph. I've found the music coming from Copenhagen to be a huge source of inspiration for my sound so it felt really special to be part of that lineup. Given it was a 12 hour party I wanted to set a nice tone for what was to come & decided to play some of the more stripped back, rolling minimal psytrance in my collection which fits perfectly with the stardust sound."

Pure Space :: ÇINTH

Next up in our mix series is Shoal, a Dutch producer and DJ who recently relocated to Prague. Known for his hypnotic, emotionally layered sound, Shoal crafts deep, transportive journeys through trippy textures, modular synthesizers, and rolling rhythms. A core member of the ISOTOOP collective, he’s performed at leading underground spots like De School, Tresor, and Ratherlost. His releases on labels like Tikita, Harmony Recordings, Monument, our own Ute.Rec, and most recently Animalia, continue to expand and refine his unique sonic voice within the scene.

In this mix, Shoal delivers a 1.5-hour live set full of acid-dripping techno, spacey atmospheres, and heads-down minimalism. It’s a slow-burning, carefully building mix that captures the raw live sounds and subtle depth that define his sound. A live-set working just as much the mind as the body.

Ute Mix Series #105 | Shoal (live)

Mikkel Rev debuts on Sinensis – the ambient-focused sublabel of Ute.Rec – with a solo release that continues his journey through deep and introspective soundscapes. The record features a live cut from his 2025 set at MUNCH during Aural Connection, paired with “Diffus”, a subtle, slow-burning chugger. Having previously appeared on Sinensis as Omformer, this marks a natural next step in his ongoing exploration of immersive ambient music.

CD ships out early July.
