One of my favourite DJs for many years, that always delivers storming sets of high energy, superbly mixed, techno and maybe a bit of electro when the mood takes him. Never a man to dwell on a track either - they are heading out as soon as they are in, keeping the mix moving in every which way and providing a very interesting and ever evolving blend of beats and grooves.

BIO:
One of the most characteristic and experienced Dj’s in Poland. Born, raised and living in center of Warsaw. He began his active interest in electronic dance music by visiting the cult club Filtry, and quickly (from 1993) started to perform as a dj (then as DJ MIC) on legendary parties in clubs Alfa, Hybrydy and Trend. In 1995 he travels to Berlin to buy vinyl records for the first time. Inspiration from that city has a major influence on the course of his further musician path.
Since then he performed regularly in every major Warsaw clubs and places connected with spontaneous and uncontrolled dance. 
Beside playing in Warsaw, he often and regularly was invited to perform in the best clubs and festivals acros Poland. 
He has also played abroad Poland on the Boomerang festival in Bratislava in Slovakia, took part in Red Bull Academy in Dublin in 2000 and played on the Techno Parade in Paris, in Berlin Kreuzberg and in underground places of London’s Shoreditch.
Mic played with most of the top Polish dj’s and supported many international dj’s like: Jeff Mills, Miss Kittin, Dave Clarke, Dj Koze, Tiga, Daniel Bell, G-Man, Robag Wruhme, Ivan Smagghe, Pacou, DJ Hell, Magda, Oliver Ho, Funk D'Void, Mike Grant, Regis, Simian Mobile Disco, Lee Van Dowski, The Hacker, Mario Neugebauer, Damon Wild, Cosmin TRG, Highfish, Tiefschwarz, Ada, Mike Dehnert, Zombie Nation, Redshape, Dave The Hustler, Tobi Neumann, Fillipo "Naughty" Moscatello, Joel Mull, Agoria, L.A. Besides playing, Mic supported the scene with articles and reviews for magazines like Plastik, Techno Party, Kaktus, Laif, Fluid or Aktivist.  When Mic plays, he likes to surprise and energize the public. He doesn’t limit himself to particular style by choosing the most interesting dance tracks from many music styles (techno, electro, acid house, electronic body music, minimal, dance punk rock, neo disco and other dance music hybrids). He uses them to express the most wide range of human emotions, invariably taking care of moving the dancefloor. His head, mind, body and soul are always on the pulse of the beat.

Exploration#1: The Extraverse [@the_extraverse1]

The Extraverse is an Italian dj-producer who grows artistically in Naples, where he develops his eclectic sound full of raw textures and evil beats. He performed in the most important local clubs alongside James Ruskin, Luke Slater, SNTS and more. He has done strong releases on labels such us Illegal Alien, Newrhythmic, Methodical just to name a few. In 2018 he launched his own label Dystant Recordings , which welcomed numerous massive producers and remixers such as Stanislav Tolkachev, VSK, Flug, Marco Bruno, Pulso and others.

BIO:
Józef Flakus, also known as Somnolent Works, is a producer, DJ, and music explorer based in Upper Silesia. He is passionate about breakbeat/jungle rhythms, old school electro, and techno music, often with robotic and strong elements. He loves to break conventions and explore new musical directions taken from different genres of music. The gritty and atmospheric landscape of factories, mines, and steelworks of his hometown region has had a significant impact on his music, particularly in its darker and more experimental elements. Somnolent Works' sound often reflects the mechanical rhythms and metallic textures of the industrial world, as well as the resilience and perseverance of the people who lived and worked in the region.
He is a regular member of the CEL club in Katowice, where he can be heard playing his eclectic selections from behind the decks. His latest releases include his debut EP titled "Surface Noise," which was self-released at the end of 2021. The EP showcases his distinctive style of noisy breakbeat rhythms, while also exploring new musical directions. In late 2022, he released the "Paperclip" single on the SKAN label compilation, which further demonstrated his ability to craft intricate and immersive soundscapes within the electro genre. On March 23rd, 2023, he is set to premiere a larger release on the POTOP label in Katowice.

This is not a biography where we tell you who she warmed up for, or played with - This is where we tell you that Aya, the Singaporean-based Yokohama native stands out on her own.

Constantly working hard as a performing DJ, the results have seen her performing for promoters/venues such as Osaka Techno Mafia and club JOULE in Japan, Modulus KL and Less Is More in Malaysia, UNDERRADAR in Indonesia, and Arcan Saigon and Warehouse Hanoi in Vietnam. She's also a regular fixture for the Thugshop collective in Singapore, who owns Headquarters, MDLR and TUFF Club.

Her style uniquely crosses the realms of club music - energetic, uplifting, empowering techno, digressing with some cheeky and fun surprises in between. Her classical music background allows her to effortlessly adapt to any crowd, channeling their story into her storytelling. This is evident in her acclaimed HÖR radio set in Berlin, where she blended tracks from Ryuichi Sakamoto and Joe Hisaishi, and her Boiler Room set, seamlessly incorporating traditional Japanese Gagaku.

Recently, she joined the renowned Midnight Shift label, earned a feature in Vogue as a trailblazing female DJ, and was spotlighted by Mixmag Asia as an artist to watch in 2024.
