Moon Teeth is a surreal alternative rock song that plunges into a dreamlike world of absurdity, emotional fragmentation, and cosmic rebellion. Inspired by the raw, offbeat energy of bands like the Pixies, the lyrics unfold in a distorted reality where lizards wink with laser beams, moon-faced lovers whisper through traffic cones, and time collapses inside cardboard boxes.

The song’s narrator drifts through bizarre scenes that blur the line between hallucination and revelation. Each verse introduces cryptic characters and twisted imagery, while the chorus delivers a defiant mantra: “We’re not okay / But we like it that way.” It’s a celebration of brokenness, chaos, and the beauty of not fitting in.

Instrumental sections punctuate the narrative with fuzzy textures, eerie grooves, and abrupt silences. The bridge intensifies the surreal tone, describing a comet-swallowing transformation and a shadow stitched to a paper kite. The final fade-out leaves listeners suspended in a space where meaning and madness coexist.
