If anything would be able to remind us of a simpler time when music was EVERYTHING, we lived for the weekend, and work was just the monotonous bit between long and fun-packed parties… it would be the image below! 

Crammed with tracks predominantly from the golden era of trance, skilfully remixed and brought into the present by the talented Charlie Walker and myself, I put this RΞBOOTΞD showcase together with the intent of encapsulating everything we love about trance and, with the tracks I’ve included, spark off as much nostalgia as possible. One track that will surely get the Sheffield faithful reminiscing has to be my collaboration with Skylex… Crazy Malamute’s ‘Free to Ride,’ which features the newly recorded guitar riff played by Stu Hartland

In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, clubs up and down the country were booming with the majority of these tracks, week in, week out, but none more so than Sheffield’s club scene. 

These tunes may have been produced elsewhere, but they were MADE in Sheffield!

***SCOTT BOND - REFRIGERATED: Chap.01 - 3HR TRANCE CHILLOUT MIX [PLAY > SHARE > RELAX]***

As the majority of countries are currently facing lockdown due to Covid-19, I figured this would be an ideal opportunity to offer something a little bit different with a purpose to help people unwind and de-stress during these unprecedented times.  

REBOOTED Pres. REFRIGERATED: Chap.01 was conceived as a 3 hour mix of ambient bliss where the listener writes the story and can serve as the soundtrack to everyday life. A musical dreamscape with some chillout and melodic selections interwoven with cinematic cues and characterized by those distinct slow tempos and soothing moods while staying faithful and not diverting away from the essence of Trance.

After completing the mix and reviewing it, it's very pleasing to have experienced an array of deep and profound emotions throughout from happiness and tears of joy to sentimental moments of melancholy.

Take a break, close your eyes and breath.

Really looking forward to what 2021 will bring for us all. No doubt that 2020 was an extremely challenging year as we have faced continued lockdowns, mutated viruses, vaccines and BREXIT pressures.

I figured that now would be the right time to release REBOOTED Pres. REFRIGERATED: Chap.02 which is the next epic chapter. A 3 hour excursion of ambient Trance music where you as the listener can be taken on a long and winding journey which will bring hope and prosperity during these dark times. The surreal mystery and beautiful serenity of the melodies will remind you of the therapeutic qualities of Trance and that the light will shine through in the end.  

Throughout this mix, expect to have several of those "I know this" moments with those memorable tracks whilst other tunes may delve a bit deeper and get you to reflect on the past as well as plans for the future.
