Luigi Madonna returns to Drumcode a year after his superb single ‘Primo’ using familiar hooks, huge stabs and monstrous drums that storm across the dance floor which, are common with Mr Madonna. The kick drums are intense, the samples interesting and the synths apparent – Butch’s quirky style of production can be heard throughout. Magnetic, holding a futurist edge with it’s spaceship sounds, cuts a deep groove with eager crescendos and heavy drops. Antimatter is packed with energy, a driving bass line and fierce drops. Butch’s productions are raw, powerful and robust - a release not for the faint hearted.

Following an old familiar Criminal Hype trend we invited Glen Coombs back into the fold after his remix for Atove. Glen has been an artists we have been keeping a keen eye on for a while now so it's great to finally have him put out some original martial with us! 

This EP is exactly what it says on the tin, no nonsense, through and through warehouse vibes! Big heavy chugging beats, groovin bass and infectious vocal hooks! These original cuts really hit the nail on the head!

We are very excited about the remixers on this package, and even more so about what they have created! 

Since delving into a solo journey away from Him_Self_Her, LE:ON has been paving a more house infused groovier route for himself. He's stripped back 'We Got Soul' and slapped it with real punching drums only fit for peak time! A real firm cut!

Also making a debut on the label are Vibe Killers! These guys have been (excuse the pun) killing it over the past few months and it doesn't stop here! To make a track already entitles 'Warehouse Jam' even more warehouse ready takes some doing! Hats off to these guys!

Slam and Obscure Shape & SHDW step up for the second wave of Radio Slave ‘Grindhouse’ remixes on Rekids this February.

One of techno’s most iconic records, ‘Grindhouse’ first appeared on Radio Slave’s ‘No Sleep’ series before spawning multiple remixes from Dubfire, Danton Eeprom, Terence Fixmer and Nic Fanciulli. Kick-started by Len Faki, last year saw the announcement of a series of remixes with more to come from Vatican Shadow, Markus Suckut, Lady Starlight and Special Request.

Complete with relentless kicks, sinister drones and industrial elements, Part Two is not for the faint-hearted. Starting with Slam, the Soma bosses keep things dark, with rattling top lines and echoing effects resulting in a truly decadent techno floor destroyer.

Following a remix of Radio Slave’s ‘Vision’ in 2016, Obscure Shape & SHDW’s abilities are held in high regard by the Rekids owner and their rework of ‘Grindhouse’ reinforces why. Complete with a rumbling low- end, metallic melodies and soaring synths, the From Another Mind founders continue to establish themselves as two of techno’s most exciting names.
