Trophallaxis is a dichotomy project, a soundscape that is slowly unfolded on the contrasts of ancient ritual polyrhythms, unchanged since cave times and the technogenic landscape; the solo brainchild of Satyar Mishra, an oriental percussionist and synthesizer enthusiast, a permanent member of the well-known Structured Noise Collective and the media art association Cactus Juice.

The project explores the interaction and exchange of neo-primitivism with cyberpunk, rhythmic salvos with deep drones, order with chaos. We take the classic Hindustani tabla, add atmospheric dub, pepper it with sour synths with a pinch of black metal and enjoy the rich brewed autistic infusion in the big city.

Today we're listening to the third live record from Old Moss taken at the latest event, that challenges the idea of experimental guitar sound in contrast with the hypnotic tunes of sirens.

This project is rooted in slow metal, which is exclusively romantic, introspective in nature and form, that paves its way for escape into oneself with sound. The fruit of this noise hallucination will be the primordial sound of the guitar. This time, the path of escape into oneself will pass along the walls of feedback, through a low-frequency string hum, with the voice of Nastya from the "Rybnoe Filé” band becoming its guiding thread.

Tala Nikitina & Georgy Orlov-Davydovsky have lifted the veil of the mystery of prenatal life at the the recent "Amalgama" - the performance was attended by the one who prepared to appear in this world, while still in the power of uterine localization. (Also today we congratulate young parents on the birth of a child!). Sonar searchings, parts of a body being constructed from the beginning, a humming umbilical cord, guttural outpourings and synthesizers handcrafted by Papa Srapa.

The composition of the Cherniye Boyare formation has been continuously mutating and changing, currently setting on four musicians: Katya Kobzar (synths, bass shovel, chains), guitarist of the Novikov Priboy band Zhenya Novikov (synths, guitar), modular wizard Vanya Yakovlev and oriental percussionist  perfectionist Hajime Kojiro, together making up a constantly transforming suspension of sound, the only constant in which remains the depth of the listener’s immersion in the hypnotic. Cherniye Boyare have managed to firmly establish themselves on Russian club scene, constantly attracting new audiences to their mysterious sound: from intimate obscura events in greenhouses to large-scale mysteries at Outline-level festivals.

Polina @ap0llinaris is a dj, musician, promoter, psychic and woman, who knows how to jump deep.

Polina's work is a crossing between various genres: from industrial, tribal and rhythmic noise, to trance, tribe and acid. She works at the intersection of musical art and pagan sacrament, which interweaves skillful manipulation of various rhythms and genres with the role of the leader of the ritual with full responsibility for the mental and dance state of the listeners.

(To better understand this modern shamanism, you need to turn back to prehistoric times, in which women playing drums around the first pyres were the real intermediaries between outer worlds, and the role of leaders of such primitive mysteries was given exclusively to them.)

Polina’s recent project “amalgama” deserves some special attention - it's a series of events and a micro-media about non-trivial culture and its movements. "amalgama" has already established itself with its mission to expand the musical range of visitors and party organizers in order to bring real talented naturals from the shadows of the underground and thereby to widespread the one true culture.

Hooligan twist of half a yung acid — a new podcast for amalgama was recorded by Ilsur Kasa @ilsur_kasa.

Ilsur is a Kazan musical treasure, popularly known as “yo, he is the one from Yung Acid @yung-acid-3, maan!”, co-founder of the Get Busy Recordings @get_buzi,  and also the mission control center of one secretive solo project, systematically gaining speed in the world of big raves. He characterizes himself as an adherent of boring electronics.

The musician gave us a trippy mood for 63 minutes, ideal for leisurely breakfasts and long bike rides. The journey itself will take place, no matter how shocking it may be for those who heard the content of the podcast, through the world of atypical techno narratives. Yep, this is a selective reading of the broadest genre, which leaves surprise. Those same tracks in albums that stand out from the general list due to non-compliance with genre canons, but still somehow survived.

Sunny, ornate, thoughtful, brazen. Beautiful.

Live from sacral trio VYRVALEKS & Turkin Alexander Pavlovich & Mark Griboedov, recorded at the second “amalgama” party in Samoobman, Moscow. When artists from different worlds come together, a worthy performance cannot be avoided.

All of them are one in three faces of researchers, where each is a guru in his or her field: 
Alexandra @VYRVALEKS is an artist and a graduate of the Rodchenko School. In her work she combines the fields of sound, poetry and performance; 
Kazan-based musician Mark Griboedov @mark-griboedov - composer, sound artist, member of the electronic project Yung Acid and curator of the Get Busy label; 
Alexander Pavlovich Turkin (https://www.instagram.com/a.atu) - programmer of a wide spectrum, including creating synthesizer patches. 

The trio made their debut together as part of the Closed Ground project in the summer of 2023, and will now join forces again at an upcoming event at Samoobman, where, depending on the mood of the evening, the melodies they create will veer into either calm soft ambient or startle the senses with improvisational noize noise.

t_error 404 is a Moscow post-industrial project by Vladimir Cherepanov, founded in 2006.
t_error 404's works have been released on such labels as Steinklang Industries, Phage Tapes, Tripalium Corp, X-IMG, AREA Z, Khemia Records, RND. Records, Wunderblock Records, etc.
Having spent a significant part of his career in club-oriented post-industrial territories - from rhythmic noise to industrial techno and EBM, in recent years he has immersed himself in a more experimental sound. He presented at "Amalgama" a bone-crushing, in the truest sense of the word, noise performance at the intersection of Power Electronics and Rhythmic Noise. Vladimir extracted the sound directly from the crumbling skull. Listen to the sound results in the new live episode.
