The name 'Cabaret Flow' refers to the New York City Cabaret Law. A regulation that existed from 1926 to 2017 and prohibited dancing in all local venues unless their owners obtained a special dancing license. During its history, the Law was disproportionally applied against minority groups – the black community (jazz in the 1930s), or LGBT during the Stonewall movement, and was widely used during Giuliani’s crackdown on the underground. This show is an hommage to all the people and communities that were and are making the New York culture thrive, despite all the difficulties they encounter.

Five years ago, we embarked on an extraordinary journey that transformed how we create, perform and experience music. A journey we shared not just with our crew, but with everyone we're surrounded by. That time was saturated with new creations, vibrant parties, new faces, and undiscovered spaces, all driven by a surge of togetherness.
