Very happy to share with you that I am finally putting out 4 remixes I did over the past years. And since it’s my birthday on 17.2. I decided to put them all out for free here on Bandcamp!
They are all very different but I still like them all a lot! Some short words about each:

mpeg - Grinspoon (Pino Peña Remix):
This little roller is the oldest of all four tracks. Gaudenz aka mpeg and me know each other from Schimmer Records where we were both residents at that time! He asked me to exchange tracks and we started remixing each other! I think this is actually the first time one of those projects sees the light.. who knows maybe more will come. (One mpeg remix for a Jones&Roth (which I’m part of) track is already released :P ) 

Martyn - Masks (Pino Peña Remix):
This remix is my personal favorite of the 4. It is a fast housy interpretation of the dubby original by Martyn with a heavy driving baseline and keeping the legendary „Masks“ vocal snippets. This track was made as part of the 3024 Mentoring program which I am part of! Also, my friend Chris aka Antidote made a really dope 3D animation for his formless series for this track. The artwork of this compilation is a screenshot from his animation. 

Martyn - Don't Block the Box (Pino Peña Remix):
The second remix I did for Martyn was of course also as part of the mentoring program. It is a quite dark mysterious track which always reminds me of the atmosphere right before a thunderstorm. Quick little fun fact: this was the first track of mine ever, which got played at Berghain (at least that I know of lol). So big thanks to Martyn for providing the stems and supporting it in the Big House! 

Sister Zo - The Fool (Pino Peña Remix):
This is the most recent track of the four. I flipped Sister Zo’s very breaky and freaky original into a brutal techno roller that rumbles in the low frequencies. It was made for a remix contest on the All Centre discord server. Sadly my remix didn’t win but I am very happy they still let me put it up here. Go check out the label and winning track! 

I want to again thank mpeg, Martyn and Sister Zo for the great stems and Antidote for the amazing video! If any label or rights owner wants me to take these down pls get in touch.

Sister Zo - The Fool (Pino Peña Remix)

Datashader emerges from the shadows with a striking breaks- and bass-heavy debut release that challenges the fabric of our digital existence. Replete with a Dopplereffekt remix, it nods to the legacy of revered anonymous acts such as Scopex, Drexciya and Underground Resistance, pushing the boundaries of both electronic music exploration and its conceptual underpinnings. As a critique of the erosion of genuine human connection in the digital age, Datashader delivers a barrage of billowing subs, infectious electro, recontextualized jungle, and techno, serving as a poignant counterbalance to current dance floor-centric norms. It's a contemporary anti-soundtrack that offers a haunting mirror to the societal costs of technological convenience. 

In a world engulfed by the digital realm, where social media platforms thrive and dominate every aspect of our lives, the enigmatic project known as Datashader was founded to reflect on the pervasive erosion of authentic human connection through various virtual realities.

Artistically, Datashader seeks to critique the impact of technology on human identity and relationships, breaking with an archetype of digital conformity and expressing a profound disillusionment with the superficiality of online interactions through music. Genuine human connection and art cannot be quantified by likes, comments, or followers but rather thrives in the visceral realm of shared sonic experience and human emotion. This idea is at the core idea of Datashader, whose artistic expression ranges from avant-garde composition and electronic experimentations to art, installation, film and more.

Expressed within the varied contexts of diverse artistic mediums, Datashader explores the concept of "technological gentrification", which describes the gradual displacement of human interaction by technology. Just as gentrification alters the urban landscape, driving out communities and cultures, digital gentrification transforms the social landscape, replacing genuine connection with curated online personas. 

Musically, Datashader's practice confronts this dystopian reality, highlighting the alarming consequence of people becoming mere nodes in a network, reduced to a collection of data points. This is manifested sonically by a blistering assault of breaks, recontextualized IDM, abstract electronics and otherworldly synthscapes, conceived as the aesthetic counterbalance to much of contemporary electronic music's dancefloor focus. 

Datashader dives deep into genres and influences which stand for a form of sonic resistance: A contemporary anti- soundtrack &ndash; a sonic mirror of the price we pay for convenience and instant gratification. A self-image in constant flux. No false technological idols.

Acclaimed French DJ, producer and electronic music stalwart OXIA continues the roll-out of his much-anticipated new album Aelle with the release of Silk & Fur – the third single to be revealed ahead of the LP’s arrival in October. I loved making this track, It should seemingly fell together and seemed to work. The album artwork is of me when I was travelling around French Polynesia in 2005 - It is on a remote island next to Tahiti called Moorea. It was a lovely place, perfect for a Holiday!
