In this episode of Cygna Cuts, we have a special guest: Hidden Memory. Emmerson Hernández, aka Hidden Memory, is a Venezuelan DJ, musician, and producer with over two decades of experience in the global underground electronic scene. A co-founder of the Babylon Motorhome collective and a pioneer in Venezuela´s drum & bass movement with Simpl3, he has performed on stages like Sonar Festival in 2002 and collaborated with artists such as Cardopusher, Bok Bok, Tomas Urquieta, DJ Babatr, and Phran.
Now based in Amsterdam, his project Hidden Memory blends Afro-Venezuelan polyrhythms with cutting-edge club sounds.
For this session for the Cygna Cuts show, while fusing UK jungle roots with forward-thinking drum & bass, he reconnects with the sounds that inspired him from the beginning, with a selection of the freshest cuts & gems from producers he admires, showing the reshaping sounds of these genres, with a modern, unpredictable twist.

This time we invited Spinnuts from Osaka. Today we will bring you 60 minutes from the 85/170 set he played at Ascalypso's party “FRONTOPIA” at the end of November last year. He has been organizing an underground techno party called Modulation Now for many years and is probably one of the key figures in the Kansai techno scene. Today I will show you 60 minutes of his 85/170 set that he played at my party “FRONTOPIA” at the end of November last year. His set was a little different from his usual style. He technically went back and forth between double and half, shocking the audience at DAPHNIA. His delicate and psychedelic set created a space unlike any other set I have heard. and the second half is Ascalypso's mix based on my set I played at Daphina's coutdown party last year. It was right after the midnight and my first set in this year. Enjoy!

This month’s Generation X has leveled up to a 2-hour heatwave, packed with pure rave energy! Kicking things off, host GLOWKiD drops a fire mix, setting the pace for the rest of the show. Then, we’re joined by the mighty DJ Mark C, who takes over with an exclusive Oldskool Hardcore Vinyl Set. But before his set, we sit down for a quick chat, diving into some of his bits and pieces.

Just for the record, Mark C first got his hands on the decks back in 1992, after obsessing over Yaman mixtapes and stepping up to Technics 1200s in '93. By 2014, he's been producing his own 1992-style rave tracks, releasing tunes through Kode 5 Recordings, Long Live The Animals, Raveskool, Rinse Repeat, 4 The Core Recordings, and Strictly Nuskool Blog.
Still collecting records and producing bangers to this day, Mark returns as a guest to the GenX show after 12 years, dropping a massive set once again.
