This is a piece exploring the nature of privilege and the irony of it as well. Both the fortunate and unfortunate are taken advantage of by those who can profit off our misery. We are enticed to enter the void, and at this point, it's one place we know we can all find each other. We search for community in isolation, both actively and passively in consequence to the lack of humanity shown to us in the structures through which we live. We are encouraged to dehumanize either side of the spectrum , though both are social constructs, and everyone ends up left in the darkness. The system built to help us can't keep up with either itself or us. Stastical sacrificial lambs. But if we can see it, we can change it. We can choose to live in the light. okay bye.
