Filmed in and around our hometown of Albany WA, the song reflects our "love/hate" relationship with the town, the weather and the experiences we've had growing up there. 

Albany is a beautiful city and we'd encourage you to visit, you'll be blown away by it's naturally rugged beauty and probably wonder why you haven't been before. Adventure is waiting.

Chiptunes = WIN is a blog (https://chiptuneswin.com/) that covers most of what falls under the "video game music" umbrella.  They release compilations of chiptune music selected out of submissions sent to them.  Then, for each main comp, they get a different record label or collective to release submissions that didn't make the original + some new songs from the collaborating label's musicians.  Since DESKPOP's roots are in chiptune, we were more than happy to participate!  This compilation is an excellent showcase of what VGM has been, and where it could go.
