This song was actually based off of one of my friends who would go to the casino and drop big money.   The story is a guy/person goes into the casino playing all sorts of tables and keeps winning.   Rather than smartly leaving with all his money because personally I hate loosing it.  He’s looking for retirement money, a new reality for him at least.  Anyways, that’s when he goes to the Highroller section gets to where he feels he would be financially secture.  I would estimate in the end he won between 5 to 10 million dollars.

This song is a murder that occurs in an apartment building.  You hear shots so you run down corridor for the elevator.  Then you spot blood on the floor.  It’s seems like it was a drug deal gone bad.   You’re in a bad neighborhood.  You make it to the elevator but you see people following you.   

Now you’re at home worried because you may be a witness so you think about buying a gun.   Then you start having seconds thoughts.  Thinking your parents would never want you to do anything to anyone.  In the end you decide to just focus yourself and get that paper.

I currently live in Toronto and have been writing hip hop tracks for about 10 years.  I am inspired by 90’s hip hop: Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu-tang Clan, Common, Eminem, Rakim, and etc.  The art you see is original paintings from my uncle Freddy Taylor.   All the beats were produced by my friend Scott.
