The first is a dramatic aria from Mozart's Idomeneo, in which the Ilia is torn between love and country. The second is from Handel's Giulio Cesare, where Cleopatra uses her charms disguised as "Lidia" to seduce Cesare.

American piano accompanist Aaron Lott is a recent graduate from the Royal College of Music, where he completed a Master of Performance in Piano Accompaniment under the tutelage of Simon Lepper. There, he received regular coachings from Roger Vignoles, Andrew Zolinsky, and Gary Matthewman and studied voice with Janis Kelly. He has performed at various venues across London and the UK, including the V&A Museum and the Bristol Cathedral. Recently, he attended the Kirchheimer Liedersommer course in Germany, which was led by Graham Johnson and Sabine Fues, and the Lied Studio course in the UK, which was led by Joan Rodgers, Gary Matthewman, and Cordula Kempe. Additionally in 2015, he trained as a vocal coach through the Frost of Scandinavia course at the North Sea Vocal Academy in Denmark, where he studied with Audrey Hyland and Vibeke Wrede.
Aaron received a Bachelor in Music Performance from Iowa State University. There, he studied piano with Dr. William David and voice with Dr. Donald Simonson. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012, he performed and worked across central Iowa while studying privately with Dr. Mei-Hsuan Huang at Iowa State University. He also spent a short time in New York City studying with Thomas Muraco at the Manhattan School of Music.
Aaron is looking to pursue more work and experience in Germany as a vocal coach and recitalist in the hopes of specialising in German Lieder.
