Fast-rising Rebel queen Francesca Lombardo is back on Crosstown with her seductive new single ‘What To Do’ featuring remixes from Infinity Ink, Matrixxman and a Luca Cazal Dub. Showcasing Francesca’s undeniable raw talent and pure, fluid vocal flair, ‘What To Do’ is another example of the producer’s sublime song composition in an electronic framework. The sultry mood evoked by Francesca’s voice wraps around the infectious melody as spooky ethereal tones rise and fall with the subtly driving groove. Infinity Ink strip down the elements with mechanical precision, injecting some darker bass and a more solid kick. Matrixxman revels in the twilight zone and delivers an alternative trippy tapestry of jagged synth stabs and melodic bleeps with only waves of the vocal. Luca Cazal’s Dub is a perfect late night builder with added sonic textures.

Francesca Lombardo has rapidly become one exceptionally in-demand lady on the scene. Fully inaugurated into the Rebels camp, the Italian London based DJ/producer and classically trained vocalist released her first two highly acclaimed ‘Changes’ and ‘Eyes Of Nature’ EPs on Crosstown Rebels and is gearing up for a debut album release on the label next year plus a much coveted appearance on the Rebel Heart stage at Burning Man 2013. Francesca also recently debuted in the Boiler Room with a magical live set, coming soon.

Infinity Ink is London/Ibiza based duo Ali Love and Luca C (the latter of which delivers the dub for this package). Infinity Ink have been taking over dancefloors and the air waves under various guises, delivering last year’s summer anthem ‘Infinity’ on Crosstown Rebels and also ‘Benediction’ and ‘Reverse Skydiving’ as part of super house group Hot Natured.

Charles McCloud Duff aka Matrixxman is purportedly a man trapped in a realm of unending 3D avatars roaming lost amongst dystopian digital wastelands. Matrixxman's debut EP ‘The XX Files’ received critical acclaim from Pitchfork, The Fader, Spin and Fact Magazine while garnering support from the likes of Damian Lazarus, Jeff Mills, Josh Wink, Boris of Ostgut Ton, Trevino and Dubfire. His own imprint Soo Wavey is a purveyor of brutally futuristic interpretations of classic WBMX era Chicago house and Detroit techno.

‘Gone Too Long’ from rising duo Him_Self_Her is a bonafide bomb - house with feeling and a massive bassline and killer vocal from Kieran Fowkes. Reinvigorated by Crosstown Rebels for a re-release after it came out on Mexican label Cream Couture last year, this time the infectious original comes backed with remixes from Belgian hero Compuphonic, who injects more bounce, bleeps and emotive melody and the mighty Yousef who’s darker ‘Circus Rework’ is a deep affair of rolling drums and dubby textures.

Dynamic duo Him_Self_Her is the astute combination of Claire and Leon who came together after honing individual skills for many years on their local scene in Leicester. All that it took was one studio session to realise the potency of their union and their genre blending productions are showing no bounds - ranging from deep grooves to disco infused techno. ‘Gone Too Long’ was originally released in 2012 and championed by Pete Tong (Essential New Tune) and supported by the likes of Jamie Jones. Damian Lazarus has now signed the duo and along with this re-release there is more to come on the label and the duo also have their debut album in the works.

One of the youngest DJs on the Belgian DJ circuit, Maxime Firket aka Compuphonic broke onto the international scene with a release on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings. Further releases have dropped on highly acclaimed labels including Modular, Darkroom Dubs, Systematic Recordings, 2020 Vision and Parquet Recordings.

Yousef is a mainstay of UK house music. With a career spanning over ten years, the heavyweight  DJ / Producer and Promoter founded Circus Recordings and events and has appeared on some of the most revered and respected labels in the business - Carl Cox’s Intec, Nick Curly’s Cecille, Saved and of course Sven Vath’s Cocoon Recordings - which released ‘Come Home’, Yousef’s stunning Piece de Resistance.

Ali's new single 'Another’ comes highly anticipated. 'Another' pumps a four to the floor beat with glitchy percussion and distinctive psychedelic vocals. Techno soul at its best. 

The single comes with remixes from Tuff City Kids (aka Gerd Janson & Phillip Laur) and the inimitable Felix Da Housecat. Tuff City Kids channel Reese, and drive it deeper, whilst Felix Da Housecat smooths things out and turns the emotion dial to 11. 

Ali is busy putting the finishing touches to next year's album. 'Another' is a sign of big things to come.

Jamie Jones launched the Hot Creations label back in 2010 with 'Ruckus'. Now Jamie makes his long awaited return to Hot Creations with 'Planets, Spaceships', a four-track EP set for vinyl release on 18th November 2013.

These tracks have been Jamie's secret battle weapons all summer. Tapping into a dark sider but with that distinctive Jamie Jones melody and drive that are a signature feature of his DJ sets. Title track 'Planets, Spaceships' features vocalist Daniela Caldellas from Digitaria, who has an album planned for Hot Creations in the new year, whilst 'Cookie Monster', 'Starp Trek' and 'Stick' take things even deeper with vocal snatches and crisp claps.

Highlighting his avant-garde style and showcasing exactly why he is recognised as one of the leading figures in the rebirth of house music, 'Planets, Spaceships' further cements Jamie's place in the dance music hall of fame.

Back at the dawn of the summer, Infinity Ink unleashed ‘Infinity’, a track that quickly became the tune of Ibiza 2012. Now that the sun is fading and the closing parties are drawing near, Dirtybird heavyweight Claude Vonstroke and Hot Creations homeboy Richy Ahmed put their own stamp on the cosmic garage anthem with the long awaited ‘Infinity Remixes’.

Long-term friends and cohorts Ali Love and Luca C succeeded with something quite extraordinary in their new production guise as Infinity Ink. Already amassing a of support and an escalating fan-base with debut ‘Games’ on Hot Creations, their next installment presented a unique cosmic take on garage and struck a chord with dancefloors around the globe. One of Crosstown Rebels most highly anticipated records of recent times, ‘Infinity’ and Its intoxicating qualities created a nigh on sonic hysteria this summer becoming the signature tune of many a poolside and disco. Championed by major players Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, Lee Foss and Art Department, this ground breaking piece of leftfield garage along with Ali’s trademark evocative vocals, placed Infinity Ink firmly on the map as breakthrough artists of 2012.

After the legend Todd Edwards delivered what was arguably his best remix in years on the original release, two producers, each voyaging to totally different dimensions bring ‘Infinity’ into the next party season. First up, founder of pioneering San Francisco imprint Dirtybird Claude Vonstroke, submerges the original in a pool of futuristic, spaced out percussion, warping loops and cosmic FX – bestowing that Barclay brand of dirty, quirky funk.

For his Crosstown Rebels debut, Richy Ahmed steps back in time to 80s Chicago, cutting and manipulating Ali’s vocal to a deep old school drawl reminiscent of classic Dance Mania Records. With a rude analogue bassline and retro piano driving into a full on acid work out, this beast of a track is sure to do some serious damage to the dancefloor in its own right.
