This  is a song I wrote in 2003, I wrote it when I worked at Stouffer's lasagna factory while I was supposed to be working...WELL!?! IT WAS A BORING JOB!! Anyways I wrote two songs while there the other one is Hey Aphrodite. 


Couch Spud


I woke up in the morni’n, just bout eleven o’ clock
Put on my shirt, put on my pants
Went for a little walk
Stepped outside, I saw the sun, then I changed my mind
Crawled back to my little cave
Cause it was TV time!
I’m a couch spud
Step aside bud
It’s in my blood
To sit on my butt
My hands were cramped my eye balls ached
This game was really hard!
I've been playing three days straight
The controls I nearly discard
I haven’t eaten, my head hurt, and I haven’t taken a bath
I decided I should stop
But then I had to laugh
I’m a couch spud
Step aside bud

To sit on my butt
My dad came down to my room and said “What are we to do with you?”
I said “I don’t know,” He said” Get a job, you’re a bum we’re through.”
I said “OK dad, could you step aside, your obstructing my view!”
My Mom-ma cried with tears in her eyes and said
“What are we gonna do?”

To sit on my butt.
I went out in the evening (cause the sun hurts my eye’s!)
Being out from my couch and tube is something that I despise.
I found this girl, she was sweet and I really liked her style!
I told her I would change my ways if she would stay with me a while.

I wrote this bath song for my daughter when she was a baby. I have sung it to every baby of mine after each and every bath.

Ding Dong my little bell!

This is a lullaby I wrote for my Kiddies. Its only one verse, I sing it slow on purpose, Its better for sleepy time.

Bouncing, counting, ABC’s
Blues clues, Elmo, more...
Diapers, pull-ups, dirty wipe's

I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote this....but I like cake.

CAKE

I had a cake
That I did bake
But someone ate that cake
My two hands
Had high demands
With two round pans
For a cake that they could make.
Now it’s gone
And it’s all wrong,
I’ll sing sad songs
Of that which I didn't eat
I’ll bake anew
Where no one knew
And slate my sweet, sweet tooth
But I can’t you see
Cause knowing me...
Someone would see
And say “wowwie!”
“Your cake is smelling great”
Then with glee

Cake

Have you ever wished you could take something you said back? Or some action that would have changed your life? I have, but it doesn't do any good. That is what inspired this poem.

Wishes

How many wishes have you wished?
Against your choices past
What would you do differently?
If you could take it back

Wishes wasted, bitter tasting
On what could’ve been
Thoughts a turning, hearts are yearning
On what you’d change back then

What of now? Have you thought of that?
Though you’re heart is full of sorrow
What would you change right now?
That could change tomorrow

You've looked hard at what you should’ve
Now look, at what could be
What can you change right now?
So you can be happy

If pain fills what you've been
You need to change your “be”
And then your “be” will be right now
And then you will be free

Wishes

     I showed this poem to somebody after I wrote it, and they made fun of me. It wasn't in a jesting sort of way, but in a way that made me feel like a fool, like when I was a child. So I said "Shut the f*** up, you good for nothing piece of S***!" Then I pushed him over and ran away.

The Cat

The cat
The cat sat
The cat sat on a mat
The mat was flat
So the cat sat on the flat mat
Matt spat!
Not the flat mat 
But the man Matt, who owned the cat
Now... Matt didn't like the cat sitting on the mat
So Matt spat at the cat, which sat, and looked at Matt, who threw his hat
Then stormed off to get his bat!

Since he was...born, Aaron has loved a good story. Having a head jam packed full of creative vision, writing gives this story teller an avenue to escape the voices and entertain (which is his second hobby.)Realizing that sounds and pictures are what draws in an audience, he starting recording his poems from his blog "If you Don't Understand What I Mean" a blog that is slowly gaining speed.
