Cuban duo PAUZA have curated new series ‘Cuba, Get Physical!’ and it kicks off with one of their own tracks with Arema Arega and a remix by Monkey Safari.

Paula Fernandez and Zahira Sanchez, both from Havana, have a distinctive take on house music that draws on their rich local cultural references. The result is a sound rich in organic percussion and Afro-tinged drums that are authentic and alive every step of the way. They have been associated with Get Physical for a while and have released solo EPs and contributed to the Cocada - The Second Season compilation in the past. Here they work with Arema Arega, a Cuban singer-songwriter, music producer, painter and fashion designer.

'Caliente' is a brilliantly rich house sound with organic percussion and hypnotising vocals from Arega. The groove bumps and shuffles, with wooden hits and bubbling bass next to slick synth work and sensuous trumpet sounds which add up to a seductive and cultural track.

Label mainstays Monkey Safari then step up with a remix that goes deep. It's sprinkled with shakers, delicate chord work and moody grooves that snake late into the night and get you in a trance.

This is a superb introduction to the forthcoming Cuba, Get Physical! EP.

Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, @flowingmovementmusic. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, @gentlemantracks selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to @superordinate-music, founded by @naetek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Aaron Sevilla es un DJ y productor mexicano con creciente presencia en la cultura techno mexicana y latina; caracterizado por sus mezclas orgánicas y enérgicas se abrió paso hasta conseguir residencias en clubes tan icónicos como AM Local, Americana Club Social y Janis en la Ciudad de México. Ha tenido oportunidad de compartir su música en eventos de prestigio mundial como Burning Man Project (2019), Medusa Sunbeach (México 2019) y Ultra Music Festival (México 2018), logrando así compartir escenario con grandes estrellas: entre las que destacan Carl Cox, Dubfire, Tale of Us, Jamie Jones, Luciano, Marco Carola, Claptone…

Su carrera comenzó en el año 2012, y en 2013 Sevilla realizó un viaje por Europa que enriquecería enormemente su conocimiento y contacto con diversos temas relacionados con la música. Rumbo a 2015, Aaron vuelve a la Ciudad de México a reanudar sus actividades de producción y presentaciones en vivo, a la par que desarrolla el proyecto Pulse Wave como una agencia integral de soluciones para productores de música electrónica incluyendo bookings, radio shows, promoción de eventos, plataforma de streaming, entre otras. Con el tiempo además ha sido apoyado por artistas de talla internacional como Black Coffee, Simone Vitullo, Richie Hawtin, Peppe Citarella, Natema, Mijangos y otros. Así, desde 2021 Aaron ha ocupado diferentes posiciones en las listas principales de las tiendas de música electrónica más relevantes, incluido el #1 en Afro House Chart en Beatport y el #1 en el ranking Afro Latin Traxsource.

Ya en 2018 incursiona por primera vez con presentaciones en el extranjero, haciendo vibrar tierra colombiana en uno de los clubes de mayor relevancia a nivel mundial: Baum Bogotá. Durante el tiempo de confinamiento continúa trabajando con presentaciones en línea de impacto global, ahora conduce un radio show en la estación de música electrónica más importante de México: Beat 100.9 FM, y se encamina hacia el futuro encendiendo fiestas cada vez más grandes en lugares cada vez más interesantes. Sevilla es ahora considerado uno de los talentos más prometedores de la escena underground mexicana según DJMAGmx.
