Don't Let Me Down - Lawls Remix

This album explores the effects that lack of contact with the sun has on a person, this is a very personal album as I wrote them based on my own experiences. The first track was written towards the end of summer 2016, it was a time where I felt pretty happy and confident in myself, and the song reflects that. The second track was written just after Christmas, during the “post Christmas blues” season, it’s also a time where the hours at which we are exposed to the sun are vastly reduced, it was at this time where I started to lose confidence in myself and started becoming depressed. The third track was written during February, which has a reputation for being the most depressing month. During this time of year there is very little sunshine, the weather is unpleasant, usually overcast and raining, and most people are in a bad mood. The unsettling instrumentation for this song was chosen to reflect how I was feeling at the time mentally.
