A meditation for accepting the shadow in other and self. Bring to mind someone who is challenging. Observe this person and make a list of all their negative qualities. Then call the person to sit with you, share this list, and ask, "Why?." Then apply this list to the self.

Emotions always come to express real needs and boundaries, and to call forth real wisdom and love. In this meditation we make a safe space for emotions to arise and express themselves. We allow our most wise and loving parts to respond to the emotional calls.

We encounter a being with whom we would like a better relationship. To meet this Other means first meeting the parts inside which have a strong reaction to this Other. Then we call the Other into a safe space and engage in healing exchange.

Daily life forms obstacles to us experiencing our own true nature, an aspect of a person called the "Self" in Yoga philosophy, which is always present and aware, in a state of peaceful alignment with the Universe.
