I had the honor and pleasure of playing the main stage on Friday night at FnF's 25th annual campout. The mesmerizing light show provided an epic immersion into some of my favorite tech house and progressive tracks. I hope you all have as much fun with this as I did playing it.

I had a rough week and I wanted some music that would make me feel better. I'm also about to leave for Burning Man in a few days and I've been collecting and organizing a bunch of tracks for various situations and moods.
One of my favorite times of day at BM is sunrise. It's such a wonderful transition from the darkness and intensity of sound and fire to the light. I've tried to capture that here with some deep, lush tracks, building up to the brightness and joy of a new day.

4am Sessions 001

48 hours before I played this set, Ethan asked me if I could play, and of course I said yes. Play FnF? Fuck yeah. I was stoked. Dream come true. The down side was that I hadn't played any daytime tracks in almost a year. If you listened to my submission, it was driving, progressive techno. I needed to do some shopping to build out my playlist, and I had almost no time to practice.

All things considered, I think it went pretty well. I had an absolute blast and it reminded me how much fun it is to play this type of music as well as how hard it is. Lot's of tonality and lyrics to deal with. Anyway, thanks to everyone who danced, the music committee for giving me the chance to play and everyone involved with making this event possible.

New Beginnings is a special mix for me as it marks a new chapter in my life. Over the past year and a half, everything has changed for me. My relationships, where I live and my career. I needed to make major changes in order to be happy. It's been really challenging and I've had to deal with some unforeseen health issues. I knew it was going to be tough, but I didn't know how tough it was really going to be. I made some mistakes, but overall I made the right decisions. This music helped me through and I'm now settling in to my new life. I've grown a lot. I know more now what I want from my life and I'm working on making that happen. Thanks for listening and I hope to see you soon on the dance floor.
