This has been such a journey and I'm so glad my debut mixtape is finally yours to listen to! I wanted to pull from all of my classical and film influences, but also create these epic tracks with techno, trance, house and breakbeat. 

The track-listing includes several originals including my live show intro, clint eastwood & voodoo, as well as remixes for some of my favourite artists such as London Grammar, Foals & more.

This is the second official volume of the Monastery of Sound. My goal with this volume was to show you the duality of my productions. The first half of the mixtape was comprised mainly of harder style techno tracks and the second part of the tape is exploring more of my melodic side. Alright everybody here it is!!! The first release off the upcoming mixtape! This song is honestly one of my favourites I've ever made, it's such a journey start to finish. What I like about this song is it incorporates so many of my influences from epic cinematic Hans Zimmer esque lead sounds to 90's breakbeats, trance synths and techno drums. When I heard this track for the first time I was really drawn to Griff's incredible vocals so when I saw Zedd posted the stems I jumped at the chance to put my own spin on it. I really switched up the structure and the chords taking it from a radio ready pop song to a festival slapper. Making this progressive sound mixed with techno and tech house influences is something that I've been working away on for a few months now and it probably the purest form of music to what first inspired me to make dance music in the first place. I really hope you all enjoy it!
