Deceased Queens, New York rapper Chinx Drugz‘ debut album Welcome To J.F.K. is only a little over a month away. With his current single “On Your Body” getting some spins on the radio, anticipation for the full product is only getting more intense. One of the things he was well known for was his infamous Yay-Mixes, and although gone, he was still able to flip French Montana‘s “Off The Rip” single, a track which he provides the chorus to.

The new Yaymix, hears Chinx D joined by some familiar names with his Riot Squad brothers Bynoe and Cau2G$ as well as Meet Sims, who we were introduced to throughout CR5.

A few years ago former President of Violator Management/ multi-media powerbroker, Mona Scott Young, contacted veteran musician/ songwriter/producer Lofey (a/k/a @stupidwhitejerk), about creating music for an upcoming docu-series.
Without hesitation Lofey produced a variety of cue music & the theme sequence for what is now the well known hit VH1 show, “Love & Hip Hop.” Lofey has written and produced numerous records for well known artists which includes Nas, Jay Z, Mariah Carey, Scarface & Joe Budden, to name a few. He has also been responsible for providing music for some of Hollywood’s biggest block buster films such as Transformers, Night At The Museum and Alvin & The Chipmunks.
After season 2 of “Love & Hip Hop NY" Lofey decided to take the
theme sequence for Love & Hip Hop ATL one step further by adding a vocal, which he felt would heighten the branding capabilities of the show.
He reached out to his longtime friend & writing partner, Cardan, to see what type of ideas they could come up with together. Cardan, known as the “Rap Ne-Yo,” has written hits for powerhouse stars like Nelly, P.Diddy, Lil’ Kim, Mase, Bow Wow & the list goes on...The two eventually came up with the catchy phrase, “This Is The Life,” which ended up becoming the tag line for the show’s theme sequence.
As the success of “Love & Hip Hop ATL” blossomed, Lofey decided to turn it up another notch by taking the the successful theme music and making it into a full blown record for the clubs.
Lofey pulled in two more “on- the-rise” artists, MeetSims and Travis McClung, whom he is developing with his partner Doug “Biggs” Ellison (CEO of Four Kings Productions, which is responsible for Grammy award winning artist Chrisette Michele). MeetSims has already shared the stage with French Montana and Fred The Godson, as well as writing and performing hooks for top artists like Meek Mill. “He is definitely someone to watch out for.” explains Lofey. “Then Travis came to the studio and blessed us big time with his voice for the intro of the song.” This kid is the next huge heartthrob/pop sensation. “I am very excited about all of these projects and amazing opportunities. What a great way to bring in the new year!” states Lofey.
