Hailing from punk and a Prodigy-loving family, his interest in electronic music has taken him on a sonically varying journey which shows no sign of letting up any time soon. 

We recently spoke to Crypticz, who established himself at Diffrent Music, a label that’s been at the forefront of pioneering electronic sound since 2010. 

These progressive sounds are showcased in their latest album Revolution Of The Giraffe, which features tracks by label veterans like Arkaik, Lakeway and Crypticz himself. 

A lover of vinyl records and a wide range in music taste, Jordan Parsons’ Crypticz project has been in a state of flux lately. Having not played to a live crowd for a year now, the Bristol-based artist believes a self-indulgent approach to his music has seen a decline in club bookings but his recent return to the recently resurrected SWU radio station means he’s back on the airwaves regularly shelling out leftfield bangers. Minimal Motion

This mix is a live recording that took place somewhere out in the Washington Forest between Mount Rainier & Mount Adams in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. If you know you know, it was an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone who was there. Special thanks to Kelly for letting us flex his amazing custom speaker system he brought out to woods. This was a very special mix for me as I had a premnition about this experience in years past and had waited a long time for it to build and come to full fruition. We mixed for many hours on end together over this weekend out in the forest and it was magical. This mix is just 1 hour and 20 minutes of the special nights. All unplanned and just feeling the mood of the forest, stars, comet and souls really in the moment solidified this mix as a deeply emotional experience for me. Please let the emotions and or feeling you experience through this musical journey interact with you in a healing fit of gratitude and light. Stoic Selectah (Aaron), has been making his name known in Boise for the past 11 years. Playing at clubs and festivals around the treasure valley and beyond, he values traditional mixing techniques like beat matching and creating blends. He uses these skills and many more to curate high energy sets with a polished sound. His ability to read the crowd, along with a massive music library, allows him to change things on the fly if needed. This way he can meticulously guide the energy of a party to create a new experience for every performance.
