A percussion based action/suspense piece to accompany the scene of a burglary.

Cold textures start against a lyrical cello, followed by driving string rhythms, light percussion, pulsing synths, atmospheric drones, and slow brass chords, all building towards a heavy percussion section at 1:16.

I wanted to craft a score for an epic fantasy story, in a similar vein to Howard Shore's score to "The Lord of the Rings", by using leitmotifs. For my story, I chose "The Farseer Trilogy" books by Robin Hobb. This piece was written to a specific scene in book 2, "Royal Assassin", and contains 2 themes for Queen Kettricken, a danger motif and a theme for Galen.

Mountain Kingdom

A bittersweet piece featuring gentle piano and mournful string duo. Written for a short film about a man dealing with grief.
