Blending sounds that range from Dub, Ambient, New Age, Ethereal, Abstract, and Acid Jazz, it aims to showcase musical spheres beyond the club-oriented sounds we usually associate with Abajour. It also reflects a parallel project called ‘Desira Noroi‘, and an event series in Paris called 'Trip Tease' dedicated to opening up and exploring a broader musical spectrum.

Rard Laudy, better known as DJ Loud-E, has been killing it for years digging up sick old disco records from ’77 to ’83. His stuff sounds way more like today’s house than that dusty old-school disco, packed with crazy synths and drum machines. He first dropped his edits through Berlin labels like Must Records and Magick Edit Allstars, before Stevie Cotey signed him to Bear Entertainment – home to big names like Theo Parrish and Todd Terje. Loud-E already shut down parties at top spots like Fabric in London and Avalon in LA.

@blatsss says: My fascination with Bhangra, especially the UK hybrid version, has been with me for a while now. It all began when I discovered Bindu on Multitone and the Love 2 Love trilogy on Audiorec.

The rhythmic beats, often driven by the dhol and combined with elements of hip-hop and house, really resonate with me.

Sometimes, it can feel a bit much, but if you take the journey, it all makes sense.
