There's something going on between California and Bavaria, as you might have recognized collaborations between "Themselves" and "The Notwist" ("13&God") or "Odd Nosdam" and "Saroos". And on it goes when "Jel" a true producing mastermind behind the Anticon experimental Hip Hop scene is creating a mind blowing track out of loops from Munich based experimental Pop Duo "Joasihno". And here's the small sensation: Jel is not only tinkering with soundscapes and beats but even puts his vocals and his track "Hypnotize Us".

Following up 2018 well received debut EP, the second release on Swedish based label Dub Katalog comes from producer 07:08. Included in the EP are two original tracks as well as two remixes from the very close label friends Ebrahimi and Late Lake.

07:08 sets you up to leave the cold winter and to welcome the warmer and kinder days of the year. Opening track “Open Up” is immersed in deep bass, lush atmospheres and chords associated with the spirit of spring. 

Following up the original, Ebrahimi delivers his deep funky interpretation of Open Up. The remix takes you out across Stockholms intimate bars in the southern parts of the city with its thumping bass and relentless percussions.

Late Lakes remix is a deep dive through the ocean with its beautiful melodic pads and percussive elements. The perfect gentle track for building those early floors or closing down in the early morning.

Closing the EP out, Distant Shores takes you on a journey of endless shores far away. With it’s dreamy piano chords, the track leaves you with the feeling of warm days to come.
