Hidekazu Imashige aka Gallery Six is an artist and composer who is based on Miyoshi Hiroshima, Japan.

Based on his theme “Multidirectionally considering aesthetics which are very familiar, often forgotten, concealed in nature or events, and finally reveal them”, he has been making ‘sound sketches’ mixing drone sounds mainly created from synthesizer and materials field-recorded when he goes wherever his heart leads.

Toxido Mask is someone who goes a bit deeper with her sounds, her approach to sound design and her DJ sets. You can’t help but to feel the storytelling and her passion for natural detail throughout it all. She is currently a resident at Tresor Berlin and oversees the artistic direction of the 'OMM Transmission' Podcast | Events series. You will find deep hypnotic textures intricately laced with elements of finely tuned energy. Toxido Mask’s background as a Sound Designer sees a meticulous approach to developing the rich character of her works, giving the listener an almost synesthesic experience. Excited to travel with her on Spinning Grounds.

'Spinning Grounds' by @katharina-davids is all about opening grounds for newcomers to spin their music - to explore all facetes around genres from house, Detroit, dub techno to break beat.

We are soaking up all the power we can from July's full moon in preparation for the glorious musical summer ahead. And the 48th chapter of Selene Series is indeed part of that preparation: we pay tribute to one of our all time favourite events, Paral•lel Festival. 
We could try to explain the magic that takes place while nested in the Catalan mountains for three days, but words would not do it justice. Less than 3 weeks to go to see all of our friends lost in their ritual dancing, and trust us there is no better sight. 

For this mix we have collected sounds from artists performing at the festival. Hope this serves as a warm up for what's to come. Close your eyes while you listen, you might see yourself in the mountains already!

@djhockey is a DJ, producer, label operator, and event organizer based in Vancouver B.C. As a DJ and producer, Tanner's sound is technical and psychedelic, as enveloping as it is driving.

As one half of the creative force behind @pprzrecords alongside fellow DJ and producer @adamtwo, Tanner oversees events and releases dedicated to uplifting both upcoming and established names in the underground with a sense of diversity and equity informing their decisions. 

In the midst of what's been a particularly busy year for Tanner, it's a pleasure to host him and share more.

This mix was recorded live at a PPRZ x Elsewhere collaborative party at The Deli, in Vancouver B.C, opening for Zvrra (Chicago) from 11pm-12:15am. Expect a smokey, paced and slow burning textured journey.
