I started writing New Beginning about two years ago and it holds a very special place in my heart. I wanted to dive into my past with this song and write about my battle with depression when I was younger. I just wanted to fit in and not be judged for looking differently and it became a constant struggle. It took me a long time to overcome my demons and start a new chapter of my life. New Beginning is a reflection of that and I hope to bring more attention to mental health awareness and address the struggles we all endure.

I teamed up and wrote this song with Nevve a little while back while I was in a dark place in life. I had recently undergone a falling out and was feeling a sense of anger and abandonment - I felt like the instrumentation and writing does a perfect job of capturing this feeling. Also making something more bass heavy and aggressive was a lot of fun haha
