This project grew from the same impulse that led me to reimagine Für Elise— an urge to hear the familiar through different light. While working within the textures of Middle Eastern and flamenco expression, I found The Flower Duet transforming into something new: gentler in tone, yet rich in pulse and movement.

What emerged blends classical grace with Arabian warmth—strings and subtle percussion tracing the spaces between the notes we all recognize. It may not follow the rules that purists hold dear, but it keeps their beauty intact while letting them drift somewhere quieter, more reflective.

Like my earlier works, this collection unfolds in multiple moods and colors. Some versions feel festive, some pensive, others simply still. Each carries a small piece of that tension between restraint and release. I hope one of them settles into your own listening space and stays a while.

"Umraan Langiyaan" originally sung by Asad Amanat Ali gets its tribute by Ali Sethi, whose silken and flawless voice quality is nothing short of a pleasant revelation. At the final quarter of the track, Nabeel Shaukat Ali enters with "Chan Chan Chankan", originally sung by Allah Ditta Lonaywala, and both the tracks blend so effortlessly, that it's overwhelmingly hair-raising for the listener. The impeccable performance of complimenting instruments embellish the track into a jewel in it's own right. All-in-all, the entire experience makes alive a blooming spring of flowers and fragrance around you.
