Suit up, rookies! This week's Music Weeklies was the shoot em up genre. This genre of game has such a wide variety of styles I almost could have done anything. Landed on an Airwolf meets Gradius style with some Genesis/Mega Drive and modern touches.

I haven't compose with tracker for a long time, I tought I was a bit rusty...
This was aimed to be an intro for a longer song, but I didn't have much time this week, so I made it loop.
However, I think I managed some nice rythmic stuffs in there.

Entry for the #SexyTime challenge by Music Weeklies! Went with some of the kinda cliché "sexy" instruments, like saxophones, wah-wah guitars and giving it an overall Disco feel. I hope you enjoy!

This is my entry for the David Wise challenge for this weeks Music Weekly challenge! 
David Wise provided a MIDI of an 8-bit track he wrote, and I took and gave it a little spin as a Halloween themed type track. 

Imagine you're invited to a banquet at the castle belonging to the man himself, Dracula! This music would for sure play during the opening ceremony of this grand feast.

The David Wise Challenge

A submission for the Music Weeklies Challenge, for October 9th 2020.

Original song by composer Dave Wise- the challenge was to take the pre-existing tune (8-bit retro format) and arrange the song into another style. I opted out of going too modern, and decided to stay within my comfort zone of 16-bit music for my first submission.

Boss Battle: VS David the Wise

This is my take on David Wise's remix challenge, another submission to Music Weeklies. Happy birthday Muwee <3
I decided to turn this great 8-bit theme in another great 8-bit theme!
- I choosed Konami VRC6
- Increased tempo from 96 to 100 bpm
- Changed bass and drums
- Used bends and slides... everywhere X)
- Tried to manage some cool stuffs with the noise channel
- Added arpeggios
- Had a great fun!
