So it was 3AM at my friend's house a few weeks ago, and someone queued up the original track by ELLIANA and said "Aash, you should remix this!" I heard it once and went straight home, definitely still pretty drunk, and got to work on it. Funny enough, I made the majority of this remix that night, and when I woke up the next day, I had no idea how I would ever re-create that sound...I guess I was just super zoned in. The moral of the story is, I guess some good things do happen after 2AM.

I honestly didn't want to touch it up too much besides adding a chill/emotional drop, cause the original is already such a masterpiece.

This song used to be on repeat back in my middle school days, and I can't believe I forgot all about it until I heard it on the radio coming back from the bars a couple weeks ago. It was stuck in my head for a good few weeks before I realized I NEEDED to put my spin on it, and was so grateful that the acapella was officially available.

December 4th, 2025 marks 31 years for me on this planet. It’s interesting to think about all the different chapters of life I’ve lived and seen so far, while also knowing that I’ve only just scratched the surface in so many ways. Throughout it all, I know that in any given moment, I am exactly where I need to be, surrounded by those I need to be surrounded by, and am learning everything I need to understand. “December 4th” is my way of expressing my gratitude for what life has given me, for all the moments - light & dark - that have shaped me into the person I am today, and for having this innate trust in what is to come. 

No matter your beliefs, I hope that you can take a moment today to reflect on just how far you’ve come and the person you’ve grown into. Thanks for allowing me to share my birthday with you through sound.

I had the honor of sharing the stage with Elephante about a few months ago in Detroit - and when he dropped this track at the show, I instantly fell in love. When it was officially released, I hit up Phante’s team and they were kind enough to let me put my spin on this bad boy. I like to think of what I did with this remix as “melodic, yet powerful”.  I really wanted to bring out the emotion of the vocal and paint a picture for the listener - but also combine it with an energetic drop to keep it perfect for the dance floor.

Say Goodnight" tells the story of those "late night" romances that walk the thin line between a fling and something more - something I feel that many of us can relate to. This song encompasses the struggle of deciding between the two - the thoughts that go through our heads, the sacrifices we make, and the frustration we feel. To portray this accurately, I got the help of vocalists Capelle, as well as Gavin Garris. This is the first time I have had multiple vocalists on a track, but really feel that the male/female combo gives this song a whole new meaning. Each verse gives a different perspective which allows this song to be relatable to all listeners as well as tell the story in it's entirety.
