Aashiq Al Rasul which means lovers of the Prophet, are a music group brought together in 1998 to express their love of God, His creation and most of all their love for the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

Aashiq Al Rasul wish to represent and glorify God through beauty, tolerance and harmony towards all – as it should be.

We do this through the medium of devotional music with a repertoire of classical Qasidas, Hamds, Naats, Qawwali and modern Nasheeds (all Muslim devotional genres).  The rhythms used are a fusion of beats from the Indo- Subcontinent, Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. The lyrics are a mix of English, Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi and French languages.
