Mata Jagadambe

This is a mystic song/bhajan composed by my good friend Gayathri Raman (@gayathri-raman). The first time I heard it I felt the mysticism hidden in the tune that I thought this was the way it should be presented. This was what came through.

The song also features my brother, Aadarsh (@aadarsh-subramaniam), on Piano.

'Bhajan' is a devotional song and this one is composed in the ancient Indian language Sanskrit. Lord Krishna is a popular deity in India and has many names, some of which feature in the song.

A live recording of a song taught to me by my Physics and Music teacher at school, who went on to teach me many things in music. Set in the Indian classical language called Sanskrit, it is a Hindu devotional song in praise of Lord Rama.
