An emerging talent of prominence hailing from Mexico, Lokier, as a DJ & producer is cutting a stream into the estuaries of industrial, EBM and electro affixed with minimal wave, Italo disco and its denounced varieties. While running the gamut of Berlin’s underground, from off-location raves to Panorama Bar klubnacht sets courtesy of Mannequin Records, her breech into the European circuit.
Having sets marked down in Den Hague, Kaiku Club Finland, New York’s Good Room and Rex in Paris, Lokier’s diversity in style throws down an array of dramatic soundtrack moves for the dancefloor, weirdo synth, and power electronics.
With a production front now hitting its stride following a debut record for Rotterdam’s Pinkman, her early associations came through Les Disques de la Mort, London’s Throne of Blood (as She Made Monster) and Boyz Noise Rec. Presenting a high voltage kinetic between heavier body music and the intergalactic romance of disco, her tracks over the years have made their way to the edit pits of Mick Wills, Solar’s giallo horror platform Squirrels on Film, to aufnahme + wiedergabe and even UK major Skint!
Amid the regalia of gothic, disco and post-industrial music, Lokier’s plunge into the deeper esoterics of this sound only adds a fresh and inspired ethos to her work, aesthetic and vision.

The Geneva-based DJ and resident of Motel Campo has been taking his all vinyl, uncompromising sets across Switzerland and beyond, with recents gigs at  renowned venues like MetaCulture, Motel Campo, Tresor, White Hotel, Glazart, and Suicide Circus. Deeper in the techno landscape, there were appearances at Red Light Radio in Amsterdam, Rinse FM in Paris, as well as invitations to play at festival like Backslash in Zurich.

Originally stepping out under the banner of rave collective Rudelbums, Pastram delivers a destructive set of EBM, industrial, techno, acid and more for a strong addition to our series.

As the voice and spirit of Bestial Mouths, Lynette Cerezo is a powerfully haunting figure. Across international stages and recordings, spellbinding performances take audiences through voidic visions.

Since their inception in 2009, the core root of Bestial Mouths has combined Cerezo’s voice—itself an integral piece of that form—with myriad genre influences across the spectrum of goth, industrial, post-punk, New Wave, noise, metal, and other underground sounds using live acoustic and electronic drums and analog synthesizers. DIY samples pepper each album, evoking a constant need to explore greater depths of experimentation. With a history in fashion design and gender activism, Cerezo’s visual and social aesthetics are interwoven deeply into Bestial Mouth’s presentation, building outward into captivating theatrical live performances.

Cerezo has not rested during the final year of the decade, quietly working on a new LP for 2020 while she practices her other passions. Featuring in the short film “Terra”, a special hybrid performance for Randfilm Festival, a vegan leather jewelry collaboration with Berlin designer Tommy Vowles, as a character in Wir Kellerkinder—a new book promoting weirdness and goth for kids— and a Planned Parenthood-benefiting release are just a few of the bright points of 2019, with the highlight being the release of a new Bestial Mouths EP.

INSHROUDSS marks the first release where Cerezo asserts full control. Together with Brant Showers (AAIMON, SØLVE) and Alex DeGroot (ZolaJesus), INSHROUDSS is a profoundly personal release that brings BestialMouths’ journey full circle. The scrap metal, tribal drums and raging guitar of the project’s early goth-punk roots returns, amped up with snarling electronics and laced with field recordings captured during the writing process.

Cerezo’s voice is more present than ever, the lightning rod around which the arcing aurals coalesce. Detailing the past two years of her life, INSHROUDSS is released onRUNE & RUIN, a new label formed together with friend and frequent collaborator Alison Lewis (Linea Aspera, Zanias, Fleisch Records) as a way to help and showcase strong women in the underground scene.

In their decade-plus existence, Bestial Mouths have worked with many acclaimed producers and artists. Zola Jesus, Mick Harvey, Egyptrixx, Boy Harsher, Die Krupps,Mater Suspiria Vision, Zanias, The Horrorist, and Ludovico Technique are just a few collaborators, while they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Psychic TV, Austra, Chelsea Wolfe, DAF, 3Teeth, OAKE, Front Line Assembly, White Ring, Suicide Commando, David J., King Dude, Youth Code, Cut Hands and Light Asylum.

We are facing a new and worldwide situation, very complex for all of us and for all the artists, clubs and organizers.

Covid 19 has forced us to social distance but we will keep fighting, trying to transform all this suffering into an opportunity for reflecting on our priorities, to create and to keep spreading art. We will keep loving and supporting each other because our community is based on true values such as love and sharing.

Vittorio Di Mango is an Italian DJ/producer from the class of 97, born in Trani, a small city in the south of Italy. 

Vittorio's first approach to electronic music was in 2012 when he played in little clubs in his city and those nearby. In 2014 he became interested in Techno music by taking part as a resident DJ in a local organization called "White XXX", which later led him to exhibit with such important artists including Dax J, Phase Fatale and Samuel Kerridge. His musical sets are characterized by a weaving of Techno with that of sounds such as acid, industrial and ebm. In September 2016 releases his first Ep ‘’Wrong definition’’ on Amok Tapes. In January 2017 came out his first remix ‘’Prepare to die’’ on NEN Records. On april 7 was inaugurated ‘’Epilessia’’ his first track on vinyl with I Hate Models on Khemia records.
In 2017 part of SENSUM EVENTS as resident DjIn 2018 he became part of WAYS and in 2018 he became part of WAYS.

Noise Orchestra Podcast -  Vittorio Di Mango

Italian producer Hålbå displays granular textures and dystopian grooves to embody his vision of an uncertain future. Through drone-like rumbles and syncopated kick drums he conveys ideas of chaos despair and distress.
Above foggy and intoxicating sonorities, martial and syncopated percussions keep the tracks moving forward.
Raw and industrial sounds immersed in dark ambiances characterize the sound of Hålbå.
He intends to transport you in his world and tell you some stories focused on society's decay and its consequent uncertain future.
Chaos, despair, and distress are some of the feelings that the artist tries to convey on his productions, a result of a depth study of audio techniques and audio synthesis combined of a continuous evolution on experimentation new sonorities.
