Michel Amato's contribution to electronic music can barely be overstated. As The Hacker, and under different aliases, he has inspired generations of dance music fans and artists. Since his first release in 1996, Amato had a Techno phase, dipped into EBM, sci-fi tinged Electro and New Wave, but is perhaps most famous as a founding father of Electroclash.

We are have been delighted by an exceptional DJ performance of the maestro at our 2023 edition of Krake Festival and we are glad to be allowed to share the recording of the show with you.

Krake x Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Marsman. Ahead of the Krake Festival in Berlin this coming weekend, we're excited to bring you this special edition mix from one of the fest's headlining artists. Founder of Rotterdam's Pinkman records alongside its three offshoots Mindri, Broken Dreams and Charlois, he also ran a beloved record store at the beating heart of Rotterdam’s creative district, and co-founded Rotterdam's online radio Operator. What his work has in common is its ability to form a community out of a disparate group of outsiders with bravado. As a DJ, Marsman wants to make you dance with your head held high. His sound evokes a retro-futuristic euphoria. Nostalgic without being stuck in the past, it fosters the return of songs to the club; of sex, warmth and basslines to the dancefloor. Not confined to any one genre, expect to hear some of the best outsider sounds and infectious tracks from across wave, body, italo and well beyond. I

The Sao Paulo native now making waves in Berlin is a standout DJ known for her versatile and dynamic sets that traverse various sonic landscapes. From wave to italo, EBM to trance, Hi-NRG, techno, post-punk and beyond, her sets are fresh and inimitable, always driven by vibrant basslines. The multi-talented artist has been showing her skills both as a writer and curator for The Brvtalist platform and as a standout resident of Brvtalist parties. On top of that, her acclaimed mixes for platforms such as Rinse, Operator, and Slam Radio demonstrate that she is only getting stronger.

Eighth recording of KHIDI Night Cuts series is a set from David Vunk, remarkable DJ and producer, head of the label Moustache Records. From acid to techno, Italo disco to electro and all the way back, he has energy to spare when in the booth and can contort a dance floor and fire up a crowd in an instant. As both a DJ and producer, Vunk works up powerful sounds that are built on rough edged analog basslines, forceful drums and electrifying synths
