Our 86th FrenzyPodcast will be provided by the Greek DJ & Producer and SINS resident, Annē. Being a true music lover, Annē decided to start her music career back in 2012. By being fully committed to developing her sound, Annē has developed a style that resulted in her successful Fairy Dust EP release in 2020. Ranging from a blend of dark landscapes and powerful bass lines to pumping sounds, including some very well-chosen vocal cuts which typify her sound. 

For Frenzy Annē created a one-hour mix with a diverse selection of tracks, full of the quick, crisp grooves & pumping sounds. The session includes tracks from artists like Insolate, Anfisa Letyago, Kameliia and many unreleased tracks from Annē herself. Listen to the sound of Annē for the next hour, enjoy!

Hailing from Vilnius, Lithuania, Arnas’ passage into underground music was built upon his formative time spent on London’s dancefloors where he now resides. Drawing inspiration from a childhood background in jazz, his work navigates a mixture of personal influences with clean, low-end grooves, off-beat rhythms, moody and mental melodies and layered hi-hats to craft effective dancefloor experiences: directed by ethereal atmospheres and driving rhythms. Arnas’ sound is most inspired by the marathon sets from masters of the craft such as DVS1, Takaaki Itoh and Peter Van Hoesen, as well as the new breed of fast and groovy techno that has been making waves in the scene recently.

Glasgow born & bred, Quail has been the driving force behind one of Scotland’s most well known and revered underground Techno events & labels, Animal Farm. Operating out of the famous basement of the Sub Club, AF has been at the forefront of the techno scene for 16 years. Hosting some of the biggest names in Techno to the best up and comers and always supporting local talent, Animal Farm has strived to push the boundaries of dance floor based, electronic music.
Most recently Quail has teamed up with fellow Animal Farm resident AISHA, forming a production duo that will soon see their 3rd release on the mighty Soma Records with already more in the pipeline.

Quail fuses a ferocious blend of hard hitting Techno into every DJ set and having focussed more on production in the last few years, is steadily building his sound that encompasses various disciplines. His day job at Soma Records has allowed him to build up many years of experience, deep within the electronic music scene where he has developed as a label owner himself & competent A&R for both Animal Farm Records & Soma.

Kaspitzky Tel-Avivban született, Izrael második legnagyobb városában. Már kiskorától kezdve rajongott a zenéért és gitárosként játszott egy metal-core zenekarban.  Az elmúlt három évet annak szentelte, hogy megtalálja saját egyedi hangzását, mint elektronikus zenei producer és DJ.
Kevesebb, mint egy év alatt szülővárosának egyik legismertebb klubjában a Bootleg Clubban rezidens lett, ami mindenképp komoly sikernek könyvelhető el.
Kashpitzky volt az egyik alapítója a „V-DOOY” elnevezésű illegális tombolás Tel-Aviv szívében eseménynek a 2016–2018-as években, és ezen a partikon természetesen rezidens DJ szerepet vállalt. Mixeit az energikus, mély, de mégis grooveos hangzás jellemzi. Ez a három elem kulcsfontosságú a technoról és általánosan az elektronikus zenéről alkotott saját definíciójához. 

Kashpitzky, has dedicated the past three years to define his own unique sound as an electronic music producer and DJ.
It took him less than one year of activity in the nightlife scene of his hometown to get a permanent residency at one of the most quoted clubs “Bootleg” Club.
Guy was born in Tel-Aviv (Israel) and from an early age was etching out his musical path as a guitar player in a metal-core band.
Kashpitzky was one of the founders of “V-DOOY” - illegal raves in the heart of Tel-Aviv during the years 2016-2018 and off-course a resident DJ at those parties.
He’s energetic, deep but yet groovy productions, are one of the main keys of his unique definition of Techno and electronic music in general.

We asked Theo about his motivation to record this mix:
"What inspired me on this special mix for Voxnox is the current new world order situation happening, as I've managed to turn the negative into a huge positive and join my emotions into the mixes to create a hard and exciting alien groove, pushing the tempo from 140bpm upwards and back for a serious scientific journey full of heavyweight sounds…. Hope you enjoy the powers!"
