“Collapsing Empires” is Rhys Fulber’s third album for Sonic Groove. Continuing his trajectory of blurring the lines between, industrial, techno & cinematic ambient music. “Collapsing Empires” was conceptually written as the next chapter to Rhys's recent self released “Brutal Nature” album. Both albums written in continuity during the height of the Covid pandemic are laden with deep and lush textures of contemporary sound design. This is a cerebral journey driven by refective and introspective soundscapes that weave in an out of mesmerizing drum rhythms. With this album Rhys add's another masterpiece of electronic music to his fve decade spanning discography.

V/sions was founded in Dresden, Germany, at the beginning of 2016. The musical conception is extensive. Impressed by Industrial and Power Electronics, his love located in the techno of the early 90s, EBM and belgian‘s new beat style. All these musical influences are part of his DJ sets, which he combines with his own touch. Music as a universal language forms its conceptual orientation, for which he always provides surprises and a liveliness in his performances.

"Void+1" is officially starting to unleash its arsenal of 12 releases that have already been scheduled for 2023, and the journey starts with Scalameriya's "Nullification EP". On board are 4 tracks in different styles, specifically designed to showcase the variety of techno-branches that will be explored on the label in the future. From minimalistic structures to metallic stompers, hommages to 90's roots and electric breaks."


A1: "Hix.un'drakonez", a minimalistic, yet powerful mechanoid-track,  is designed to mirror the feeling of dread while sailing uncharted waters and overcoming unexpected, monstrous encounters. Classic "Scalameriya" synths, a cinematic breakdown and a melodic plot-twist! 

A2: "Nullification Alloy" takes no prisoners. A fierce 4/4, metal-bending stomper with piercing synth-vox design.

B1: "And... Action!" depictc a b-movie fighting-scene with a pinch of comedy. A combination of 90's synth-stabs, the amen-beat, record scratching, but everything is re-created digitally. 

B2: "Blinded By Nostalgia" is a melodic breakbeat track that attempts to simulate the scenario of whistling a track you heard before in the past that you can't remember the melody quite right of so you just fill in the gaps by yourself. 

X1: "Nullification Tool-X" a version of "Nullification Alloy" available only on Void+1 bandcamp with the purchase of the whole release.
